Schneebrett 7C💎

This one was both difficult on the skin and for the mental. It was one of those common situations where everything felt pretty easy but I just continuously kept making stupid mistakes and had a couple of really close goes, where I just barely missed out on the top. I should’ve done it in the first session where my fingers unfortunately numbed out on the last hard move, so I came into the second expecting that it would go first try from the ground. After having a couple goes solidifying the jump move and having another horrendous punt from the last move, I managed to have a pretty perfect go from the ground (excluding the top out)

It’s been a pretty rough start to this trip but my skin getting better now after my blowing my tip so hopefully some more sends are coming.

Menumental 7B+ Flash⚡️

I don’t know how I can top this feeling. It’s the first time I topped a boulder and felt like I was going to cry. Last day of the trip, last boulder and absolutely knackered, and somehow I still managed to scramble my way up this thing first try. I am still in disbelief, what a way to end the trip.

Thanks to the spotters too, very grateful for the extra pads💎

Nouvelle Vague 7B✅

Yesterday was a day of low expectations, however, just before my flash of Menumental I managed to pull off a send of this slam dunk 4th go. Simply fun.

Hardest one from the cave set, although I still find the pink harder it’s just less my style, oh well. Mint V6 was probably the hardest boulder haha, maybe climbings just hard.

Opiate V10 Classic

Sorry for the messy climbing I was pretty tired at this point after trying the ridiculously hard V9 on the new set. Flashed up to the last couple moves when I first tried this thing, then it took me bloody ages to find the right sequence to match the top. So many punts. This thing must be so hard if you’re tall😭

Hardest thing I could find at @bouldersuk Very cool foot first sequence but I don’t know what the final hold was, hope I got it right. Apologies for the dab:)

General Grievous V10

Going out in the evening somehow seems to bring the best out of my climbing, maybe it’s the sunsets and in this case, Lan fawrs’ incredibly beautiful views that do it.

This thing was so satisfying to figure out over a couple sessions. I love this place, can’t wait to work on the sit, sandstone supremacy.

Tried really hard on this one from the new set down @flashpointcardiff Found a little break at the top with the match , just stuck the thumb out😭😭 I’ll do it again another day with the proper method. Such a cool boulder tho.
