I feel so privileged being one of the few people that gets to work with this unique species. They are so cool to watch, and are not shy once they accumulate. They are one of the most active reptiles I have personally ever seen. If you ever get the rare chance to own one of these snakes, do not hesitate to do so. I promise, you will not regret it. That being said, wild caught specimens (Im sure a lot of you know) tend to be a lot harder to transition into a new home. Also, it’s a good thing to keep in mind that they are rear fanged venomous, and not much is known about their venom. It is said that it is potentially pretty potent and shares similarities to the Boomslangs venom. Overall, probably the coolest animal in my collection!!! by @epiclivingexotics

This is my Het Melanistic Red Bar MtK x Type-C female. And apparently she needs a bib. Don’t worry, the reason I pulled her out, was to wipe the edges of her mouth. Figured I’d get a video before I aggravated her. She’s never shown aggression, but she definitely doesn’t love it. by @epiclivingexotics

This little one just hatched out 10 minutes ago. I saw the egg moving about an hour ago. Just came back to a little head poking out. It never gets old. by @epiclivingexotics

This is Magnus. He’s a Type A/Type C and is by far my most vocal Leachianus. If I’m in the reptile loft, he’s making noises at me. Probably cussing me out in his little Leachie language. by @epiclivingexotics
