OK, if I were pitching the concept to the head of a studio, this would be the plot: Five Gen-Xish guys from various action sports backgrounds who’ve transcended machismo culture through a shared appreciation of sunsets. Think of it as Seinfeld meets The View, meets X-Games, meets your favorite daytime drama.

The characters are:
“Momma”: Event producer who seemingly knows everyone and all the hot goss before it happens. Never seen without a baseball cap.
“Ian”: X-Games/Red Bull fixer who dreams of selling photographs of bougainvillea. Perpetual bachelor.
“Meyerson”: Agent to the stars, forever in search of the perfect wave (as long as it doesn’t require him traveling any further than Venice or El Porto). Would also like to get paid someday.
“Zam”: An in-demand filmmaker who’d rather be fishing.
“Matty”: Ex skateboarder/snowboarder/surfer, and frustrated environmentalist. Resident curmudgeon.

Tune in each week as this odd coupling of characters sensitively and hilariously ponder the challenges of life, and which companies laid off staff yesterday.
