This past weekend, the Enchanting Epsilon Pi Chapter attended the 54th Regional Conference of the Historic and Dynamic Eastern region in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—chapter President Melissa J. Charles served as Voting Delegate, and Immediate Past President Kadiatou Bah was the alternate delegate.

🔺The ladies had a fantastic immersive weekend filled with informational workshops and meetings focusing on the development of collegiates as future leaders and current issues affecting our local and national communities.

🔺While focusing on Service and Social Action, we cannot forget fellowship. Throughout this weekend, we connected with our EPI sorors from far and wide! We also attended the action-packed Stroll-Off to get our groove on and connect with sorors across the region!

🔺We send our sisterly congratulations to the newly elected regional officers and look forward to elevating our impact as one in this next biennium! ❤️‍🔥 #dst1913 #dstrc24 #dst1913 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @epsilonpi_dst

The Enchanting Epsilon Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc would like to congratulate our Class of 2024 Graduating Soror. 🎓✨

We would like to give a huge congratulation to Soror Bah (FA‘23). She graduated in May 2024, Summa Cum Laude with her B.S in Biology concentrating on a Pre-Med Track.

Soror Bah’s leadership flourished at Medgar Evers College. She served as the current Chapter President of the Epsilon Pi Chapter, led the Medgar Evers Science Association Club (MESA) to success, provided guidance as a TRIO Student Mentor, and gained valuable research experience as a CSTEP Undergraduate Researcher. In the fall, she will be applying to medical school and starting her path to become a doctor. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved. Your presence will be dearly missed. Your passion for medicine will undoubtedly make a difference in the world. We are wishing you all the best in your future endeavors and know you will make a significant contribution to the world. ❤️🤍 #DeltaGraduate #dst1913 #epsilonpi #Scholarship by @epsilonpi_dst

Last week, Soror Bah was honored to present her research project that she conducted at Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health last summer at the Yale Biological and Biomedical Sciences Diversity for Rising Scientists. Soror Bah had the pleasure to investigate the role of two critical proteins BAK (B-cell-2 antagonist killer) and BAX (B-cell-2 associated x proteins), to determine whether apoptosis in neurons and other cell types plays a role in Alzheimer’s disease and to test novel drug candidates to block apoptosis. Soror Bah had a remarkable time meeting and networking with numerous diverse groups of scientists. Her dedication and passion for neuroscience research is truly inspiring. Congratulations to Soror Bah for following our chapter legacy of extraordinary women and scientists! ❤️🤍🩺 #dst1913 #elevateourimpact #epsilonpi by @epsilonpi_dst
