Gave the old @stihlusa 044 a little upgrade compliments of @westcoastsaw clutch cover, bark box, 5 point dogs, new light weight 28” bar (my back is grateful) and put it back to work on a 120’ oak tree that fell in a recent storm across the yard. Now need to figure out what to do with the root system that’s left over ? by @epsom_85_110

It currently looks like more of a tool storage box than it should. But man this do-it-all box has been A LOT of work. Probably 125hrs or more into it…..working on things an hour or so each night. Built completely from scratch. Holds an AGM battery @redarc_electronics manager30, lots of switches, fridge and slide out tray, and lots of room to hold things. Still a lot of hours to go…..need to tidy up the wiring now that it functions, mount/wire a solar panel, buy a fridge, fab some brackets to go around each door so the doors have gaskets to keep dust out, wiring in an ignition source to charge off the tow vehicle, list goes on and on. Eventually it’ll house a water pump and a water heater so we can bougie camp….Going to be awesome to be able to use it as a quick setup camp when taking the fam out. If only there were more hours in the day #rivetsarecool by @epsom_85_110

There is no better time to start something new than when you have 10+ unfinished mini-projects…..Rainy day so, I made a small aluminum switch box from scraps, welds look meeehhh. Might grind those smooth. This will mount in the RTT for interior lighting, exterior lights for the midnight bathroom trip, USB-C charger, and space for two more future switches. by @epsom_85_110

Tacked together the @brennanmetcalf trauler jack kit. This thing is genius. Will weld it out tomorrow. Too many sketchy high lift jack situations in my past, want to keep those in the past. by @epsom_85_110

ADHD in full effect. Lots of progress collecting parts and very little actual progress at the same time. Air compressor is ready for lockers and aux air supply. RTE suspension, a normal thing to layout on the kitchen island…..has bushings pressed in, may have used the most expensive assembly oil possible to press them in, but it’s what was nearby. Steering gearbox from a P38 for the upgrade from @blackbirdindustriesuk @xcess4x4 front axle truss. Not pictured: new chromo 36 spline front axles, 36/30 spline cv’s, @ashcrofttransmissionsltd locker & 4.12 ring and pinion. New 35 spline rear axles, @oxusa and 4.11 rear ring and pinion….all hopefully ready for the summer of adventure 2026. (Still need to finish the 3” exhaust too) by @epsom_85_110

Not @winterromp but the snow was super deep and fun. Also finished the exhaust for now….took it back out, cut it apart, used pie cuts to get it tucked up nice and tight against the frame. Used the @sscustom_engineering clamp to tack everything together. Straight pipe @cumminslifestyle R2.8 sounds like an angry miniature big rig with the turbo whistle between shifts 🥰 by @epsom_85_110

Got started on some V-bands. Lots more to do, need some sort of muffler next. And at this rate it’ll be ready by Memorial Day #tigwelding #stainlessexhaust by @epsom_85_110

I’m no @robbywoods yet, but it’ll hold. Replaced the mild steel exhaust that had started to rust out. Going with 3” stainless straight pipe and eliminating the muffler for now. Just need to install it by @epsom_85_110
