Our FAVORITE Mediterranean spot in El Paso! 🤤🔥

We finally tried Nour and from the food to the service, this place seriously impressed us. ❤️

📍 El Paso, TX

Here’s what we tried:

• 🫓 Pita + the Nour Spread and I’m not exaggerating when I say this was AMAZING. And it came with the plate for free!
• 🍖 Lamb Chops that were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
• 🍗🥩 Mixed Meat Plate with lamb, chicken, and beef, plus some of the BEST rice we’ve had. Seriously, the rice alone was worth talking about.
• 🍯 Baklava for dessert, which made the whole meal even better.

And one of our favorite parts wasn’t even the food. The staff was SO nice. 🥹❤️

They found out it was our first time there and surprised us with the baklava for free, just because they wanted us to try it. Such a small gesture, but it says a lot about the kind of experience they’re creating.

Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing, especially if you want to order a bunch of different things for the table and try a little bit of everything.

If you love Mediterranean food, or you’ve been wanting to try it but don’t know what to order, just ask for the Nour Spread and pita. Trust us lol

Two expressions of affogato at DOPPIO.

One with espresso, one with ceremonial matcha, both finished with olive oil and sea salt.

The one restaurant in El Paso that brings France to you 🇫🇷🥩✨@entrecotebistro

We recently visited Entrecôte in El Paso and had the chance to sit down with the owner, who walked us through the restaurant, the food, and WHY he chose each dish for us.

Entrecôte has been open for about 8 years, and the owner told us his goal was to bring something genuinely different to El Paso. About 80% of the menu is rooted in French cuisine, while still incorporating the feel of an upscale steakhouse.

French food can sometimes feel intimidating if you’ve never had it before, but that’s actually one of the things he wanted to change. The dishes are authentic, but approachable enough that this is a great place to experience French cuisine for the first time. 🇫🇷

📍 El Paso, TX

Here’s some of what we tried:

🦪 Scallops
He explained that scallops are an extremely traditional French dish, especially around Christmas and the holidays in France.

🍅 Tomato Basil + Crab & Lobster Bisque
Two completely different soups and such a good introduction to the menu.

🦪🍟 Moules-Frites
Mussels and fries. A dish that is incredibly popular in both France and Belgium and can be eaten as either an appetizer or an entire meal.

🐟 Chilean Sea Bass
They bring the sea bass in fresh twice a week, and the recipe is completely his own, made with Chardonnay, aged Parmesan, scallops, shrimp, and more.

🥩 Center-Cut Tenderloin
One of the most interesting dishes of the night. It comes with a creamy mushroom sauce made using mushrooms he told us are handpicked in Oregon and are so uncommon that very few restaurants in the U.S. actually serve them.

And then there were the desserts. 🍰🇫🇷 One thing he explained that we found really interesting is that traditional French pastries generally aren’t made nearly as sweet as the desserts we’re used to in America. The focus is much more on the flavors and ingredients themselves.

If you’ve always wanted to try authentic French food but didn’t know where to start, this is such a fun experience. 🇫🇷❤️
