More than a decade of stories, straight from the pages of our new issue. 🐎

In her Fall 2026 editor's letter, Stephanie Peters throws it back to the moments that shaped Equestrian Living, from show jumping beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais to a carriage ride through Acadia National Park. Not every stop went to plan. There was the unscheduled exit off the highway to Lexington because someone had to try the fried pie on the billboards. And there was the day our SUV made a grand entrance up the golf-cart-only path at Wellington's Wanderers Club.

Read Stephanie's full letter at the link in our bio, and find our 13th annual Gold List in the Fall 2026 issue.

Fashion Friday: First, he was an engineer. But designing cars and aircraft was never his real passion.

Growing up with a master tailor father, Alessandro learned his way around a needle and cutting table early. A chance meeting on a beach holiday introduced him to the equestrian world, and by 1998 he'd made his first riding jacket.

That first sample grew into custom tailoring for Olympic and Grand Prix riders worldwide.

Closing out Inside the Issue for our Summer issue.

Long before they were firehouse mascots, Dalmatians were bred to run alongside horses — matching a carriage team stride for stride, calming the horses beside them, and standing guard over the stable at night. Even George Washington kept them for exactly that reason.

Travel Tuesday: writer Rebecca Baldridge takes us inside her personal diary from @lonemountainranch in Big Sky, Montana — where she went to awaken her inner cowgirl and came back with an axe-throwing win, a golden-meadow lope alongside a real cattle-cutting cowboy, and one unforgettable Frito-choking moment during the national anthem.

Brandon Phillips survived pediatric cancer. Eleven years ago, he started Polo for a Purpose — and this year, the tournament raised $500,000 for kids fighting it now.

Five-year-old Ava, currently battling a rare bone cancer, threw out the first ball. The night carried on with a La Dolce Vita–themed reception, dinner under the stars, and a live auction, before Brandon took the stage to honor the person he credits with saving his life: his mother.
