POSTS STORIES REELS

Some people don't just make music. They build their lives around it. Meet Teguh Jos, a guitarist, musician, and event organizer from Mojokerto who continues to explore, learn, and grow through music. From creating his own sounds to building spaces where others can grow, Teguh reminds us that passion isn't always about extraordinary achievements. Sometimes, it's simply about showing up and keeping at what you love.

DRESS UP. SPEAK UP. HAUNT THE NIGHT.

Ghosts are scary. Being afraid to speak your mind is even scarier 👹 by @equatera.art

EQUATERA × KLUB MENEPI

Equatera supports Klub Menepi because we share the same dream: to create a safe space where everyone can come together, have fun, express themselves, and feel welcome without discrimination.

This collaboration was part of our small effort to support Klub Menepi #9, which took place earlier this month in the bamboo forest, bringing nature, art, sound, and people together from sunset to sunrise.

The shirts were produced in only 12 pieces, each in a different combination of colors, styles, and sizes. No mass production. No identical batch. Just twelve pieces made to carry a small memory of KM9.

ASBAK ANTI KARHUTLA

Still smoking? At least don’t leave your fire behind.

Asbak Anti Karhutla is Equatera’s pocket-sized portable ashtray, made to keep cigarette butts where they belong, not on the street, in dry grass, on the beach, or anywhere they could become someone else’s problem.

Made from ember-resistant material and measuring 8 × 8 cm, it’s small enough to carry wherever you go.

Only 10 pieces exist. Each one is individually hand-drawn, making every piece different and one of a kind.

No two are exactly alike.
And now, there’s no excuse to throw your cigarette butts anywhere.

Equatera joined Festival Bantal with a small batch made for a bigger purpose. We produced 24 T-shirts, and every single one found a new home. All profits from the sales were turned into pillows, blankets, and sleeping mats, which are now being distributed by our friends at RBU Sleman to those who need them.

Thank you to everyone who bought a shirt, showed up, and became part of this small chain of mutual aid. 24 shirts. One shared gesture. From one hand to another.

There’s something good about taking the slower way. Watching towns pass through the window, sharing the road with strangers, getting off somewhere unfamiliar, and realizing the journey itself was never just the space between departure and arrival. Take the bus. Catch the train. Ride whatever the city gives you. Look outside, get a little lost, walk the rest of the way. Travel lighter. Share the ride. Enjoy the distance.

Music has always been part of how we move, think, and make things. Loud rooms, small stages, long rehearsals, broken strings, ringing ears, the places where ideas become noise and noise becomes something we carry home. Equatera belongs there too. Not as a costume, but as something made to be lived in.

Wear it loud. Disturb the norm.

WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
Episode: ARE YOU READY FOR LIFE?

Somewhere between flesh and machine, progress and collapse, adaptation and survival. This edition of Equatera Stories: Why It Looks Like This takes a closer look at the process behind Are You Ready for Life? from its unfinished pencil lines and exposed mechanical anatomy to the negative visual treatment that eventually became the final graphic. It isn’t an image of the future. It’s an image of the present pushed slightly further: technology keeps advancing, systems keep getting more complex, while the planet carrying all of it becomes increasingly fragile.

So the question remains:
Are you ready for life?
on a dying planet. no refund.
