I believe that @vancityreynolds is right… the @beauregardwatches Ulysse Saint-Petersbourg is an outstanding piece which deserves his and our attention. The work on the high joaillerie dial is crazy and enhanced by the feeling of depth and volume. I really appreciate that the @louisvuitton #monterey is back in the permanent collection featuring a 37mm ceramic case and a movement from @lafabriquedutemps . The pebble shaped watch, originally designed by #gaeaulenti is available in two versions with a white dial or with a subtle green atmosphere. I prefer the white dial version, I believe the light dial works better with this design. Of course, the white dial version looks a bit bigger on the wrist but both have a good presence due to the case shape. A successful watch in my opinion which is offered at a more reasonable price than the first reedition in gold (which was bigger by the way). I highly appreciate the @legarehautehorlogerie Chapter One AGP Inverted since it offers a strong horological content in a rather contained (diameter is 37,5mm) and light (made in titanium) case. The two balance wheels offer a very nice show. Their rates are averaged by a differential, the caliber being inspired by a rare pocket watch by #albertgustavepiguet made in 1932. Congrats @guillaumetetu and @wei_koh_revolution for this achievement. Inspired by the art of writing, the new collection Nouvelle by @buci.paris.watches offers nice details like the dial texture and the lovely hands’ shape. And there is a nice reason behind: on a very special moment, both hands create the pattern of a fountain pen. Maybe it symbolizes that it is the right moment to write something very personal on a paper ? I also appreciate that the watch is powered by a handwind Sellita movement. Please note that the case diameter is 36mm. The watch is available thanks to a Kickstarter campaign which starts today. And here comes a masterpiece, the gathering of all @bart_gronefeld and @tim_gronefeld ‘s skills and technical solutions: the @gronefeld_watches #1941quadrivium . This watch is fascinating since the remontoir, the #tourbillon , the #deadbeatseconds and the power reserve display leave the first role to the incredible visual show on the dial. There are different animations, speeds, ways to move… and all together they create an unforgettable dial. And I didn’t mention the beauty of the movement. Ding Dong 🛎️ thanks to the @piaget Polo #minuterepeater . This superlative piece offers a beautiful show on both sides of the white gold case. By the way, which side do you prefer when the watch strikes ? The case is large (48mm) but thin (9,3mm) what gives a very slender style to the whole. One of the nicest novelties I saw during the last edition of #genevawatchdays was the Initial Dorée piece by @marcu_geneve . The work by #jeromemarcu is impressive on any side of the watch. The special feature is found in the hand ends which are made of diamonds. The handwind movement has a lovely and symetrical lay-out. It offers a 50 hour power reserve for a 2,5hz frequency : the true charm of low frequency ! Congrats to Jérôme Marcu for this successful first piece. Friends like @ramon_biosca or @thedeadwatchsociety who are fans of Real Madrid are currently focused on what’s going on in the Metropolitano stadium for the derby. So I hope they will not see my post ! So here comes the @jacobandco Epic X #tourbillon & @fcbarcelona which celebrates the 125th anniversary of the famous football club. This watch features a 44mm pink gold case, a tourbillon and a handwind movement with a 72 hour power reserve. It is sold in the context of a limited edition of 125 pieces. So what do you really think about the @hublot & @jeffkoons #classicfusion #balloondog ? I know it is a love & hate piece and there is no mixed emotion in this context. I still can’t believe that this @ulyssenardin Genghis Khan was stolen (among other historical pieces) a few days ago in the private museum of the manufacture.
