OMG… WE DID IT AGAIN 🥹🏆✨

Turns out her fluff was the only thing keeping her sane. 💀🤣
One fresh haircut later and Bambi has officially entered her rodeo era. 🤠🐎💨

From being a little bit stubborn and sometimes genuinely not knowing what to do… to slowly turning into a little sport pony and getting ready for her competition debut 🥹🩷.
Bambi has come SO far. And somehow, she gets more fun to ride every single day.

So proud of this little potato! 💪🏻

The reel that started it all 🩷!
She costs more than your car.
Trains harder than an Olympian.
And still asks you to film everything.

Meet: The Horse Kid.
🎬 The real boss at the barn.

Three weeks with our Finnish boy 🇫🇮🩷

We bought Finn unseen, not really knowing what to expect… and honestly, we couldn’t be happier with him. Every ride we get to know him a little better 🥹

Yesterday we took him somewhere new for the first time. Safe to say he found that pretty exciting 😂 But after that, he did so well!

Would we buy him unseen again? In a heartbeat. 🩷

So proud of how well this little girl is taking everything in. From wearing a saddle for the first time to riding off the lunge and today we had our first canter together! She’s such a good pony for her age. 🫶🏼

A huge thank you to @veragrevelink_equestrianlife for all your help and guidance!

Sometimes things happen in such a way that you can’t help but think… maybe this was simply meant to be. 🤍

When Lyn came into our lives, I became curious about her past. I started looking into her history, her family and where she came from.

And somehow, I found her full brother. More than 1,500 kilometres away. In Finland. Almost identical twins 🩷!

Our Vliedberg’s Lyn Carys and Vliedberg’s Llewelyn Cledwyn, better known as Veikko, are from exactly the same combination: Fairywood Tomboy × Vliedberg’s First Lady.

And as if finding him wasn’t enough of a coincidence, we discovered that he had been for sale since April.

Veikko was working at a riding school, but that life wasn’t really for him. Knowing Lyn, that somehow made perfect sense to us. 😂 And with limited opportunities in Finland for him to develop further in sport, he was still looking for his next home.

That’s when things started to feel a little bit like fate.

Chantal and I are both such huge fans of Lyn. We love her character, her spirit and everything that makes her her. So finding her full brother, from the exact same parents, looking for a new place in the world…

How could we not wonder: what if? 🤍

One thing led to another. Messages, videos, plans, paperwork and finally a very long journey from Finland to the Netherlands.

And now he’s here. 🥹

Two full siblings who spent years more than 1,500 kilometres apart, now looking out of their stables together as if it has always been this way.

There is something incredibly special about that. 🤍 Veikko will start this new chapter as Ever After LJ’s Finn. 🇫🇮🇳🇱

For now, he gets to rest, settle in and simply be Finn. We’ll discover the rest together.

To everyone in Finland who loved him before us: thank you. We hope you’ll stay with us for his next chapter. 🤍 Welcome home, Finn.
