Im really excited to post this, because this is my quickest ever art piece right now. Taking only 3 days (nights included) to finish. It took around 2 months to plan, organize, and draft, but coming up with ideas always takes forever anyways. This is very rare for me and I feel like step forward too, there's numerous issues I could fix on this painting and details I would like to add, but I'm content at calling it finished as it is- which is another first for me.

The Binding of Isaac art I've done over the past few months and got around to painting today. It took literally all day from the moment I woke up to now as I'm posting it.

Uhhh not much else to say, I still struggle with liking my own art and just drawing for fun instead of validation, but I think I'm getting better at that.
Or I'm just getting bland and lazier because I don't have any other talents I can earn praise and adoration from and now that I've given up art as a career path and tried everything else I just don't think I have an active passion anymore for anything other than maybe video games. I still have genius thoughts and ideas about things and media and concepts that would make amazing drawings or stories or anything, but I'm kind of accepting that I'll never be able to really put any of them out there visually the way I want. I think I'm becoming normal? Like now when I think of a super cool idea instead of trying to do it I just. Don't? Like I have at least 8 huge animation/art projects right now that I've practically given up on, some I started years ago. I'm an adult now, and my time of being gifted and talented has passed ever since I left elementary school.

It's funny because I'm saying all this but we all know damn well I'm gonna keep drawing no matter how soulless and hopeless I feel- because in the end, it's really all that I know.

Not quite sure what this is since I made up details as I went along*. Despite the unusual looking creatures, the scene before you is not entirely negative! I love the obscure and uncanny! They're not meant to be scary or bad!
Anyways, I made this in an art class I've been in for like 4 months now and finally finished it today! It's made using watercolor, which is my 2nd strongest uh.. stength(?) in terms of what medium comes easiest to me.
Gouache is the 1st but my school doesn't have gouache.

*there is meaning behind it and reason for what I drew but I don't know any words to describe it, it's kind of abstract yet specific visualizations of things in my subconscious that I don't know how to explain, so I just wanted to let that be known I guess. by @equius_equitation

The only thing I can draw in a timely manner like a normal artist is flesh/meat/rot for some reason?? so I hopped on the Wumpus torture trend. This took just under an hour to make, as opposed to my usual 3 months per drawing.
Years of being exposed to MLP FluffyAbuse and actual gore photos as a kid online have finally paid off artistically.
There is a ref image but I will not be sharing it for obvious reasons. But it was one of the first "gore" images I saw online when I was little, it traumatized me at first, but it also became my go-to thing to snap me out of it when I would have sxicidal thoughts as a teen. When I was at my very worst, and felt like I was gonna make some hasty decisions, I would look at the image and basically scare myself straight. I dont want to die like that. I want to mummify, to fossilize, not to melt into maggots.
I dont have a way with words, so maybe someone else can make the connection and have this sound poetic, but I chose to base it off of that real image specifically because, to me, it represents one of many many incidents that contribute to my childhood lost, BUT, eventually, the rest of my life gained/saved by scaring me straight outta severely harming myself. and how none of it, the problem nor the iffy solution, for better AND for worse, would have happened if I had to provide an ID to be online and give away my data to browse the web or any of the bullshit they're putting in that new Discord update.

I found him in middle school, and read the full comic just to watch him die and never come back. Now I am a full grown adult who can drink and drive. I have been surviving off of pure copium distilled solely from the last real Equius sighting in Homestuck canon for 15 YEARS. I HAVE BEEN HERE ROTTING AWAY FUELING MY DYING CORPSE WITH ALTERNIABOUND/WALKAROUND SECTIONS AND [S] D--> S33K THE HIGHB100D FOR YEARS NOW. Idk how much these things cost yet, but unless they are $5, I do not have enough.
...Is it possible for any generous philanthropists out there to purchase a visa gift card with enough money to buy these plushies and give the card details to me please. I will make a post dedicated to you, I'll draw you something, I dont know we can figure something out. Please. I need some money please.

Yes this is real audio from me. I dont know how to feel. I mean, obviously this is great, but I think I just finally finished going through all 5 stages of grieving, and went past acceptance into, like, thankfulness and reasoning. I figured it was good that Equius is gone, since they wont mischaracterize him and I wont have to read the Beyond Canon slop about a bunch of characters I genuinely dont care about at all, and like 80% of it narrated by Dirk, whose parts in Homestuck were lowkirkenuinely the hardest to get through because I cant stand him.
So far, though, I love what Hussie did with the E%emplar, and it seems, after decades, EquiNep fans MIGHT have won the long game here (look at the color of his ponytail bands!) And if that ends up being true, then I genuinely wont be able to complain because I will have gotten everything.

I wish I could get back in the homestuck discord of only because I would FINALLY have an excuse to talk about Equius and they couldn't shut me down this time. God. I dont know. Im too busy to read the BC-slop because I'm not in middle school anymore and dont have Homestuck-reading kind of time. But god.

Can someone do like a video essay summarizing the events that take place after the actual Homestuck webcomic ended? Or at least what matters in whatever media Equius is being put back in- hs^2? That Ly'lac girl seems pretty neat.
Swiss always struck me as someone to dislike; they mixed Equius with that shart, Dirk, and made some lame frat guy? Almost worse than ARquiusprite. But... now that Equius is back... maybe I can find room in my heart for more horse boys...

Errmmm art I've made recently. I dunno. My life is kind of a struggle right now. Not much to say.

2, 3 and 4 are drawings I made to go with chapter 5 of my fanfiction.
Slide 5 is Kitty Prism and Otterboy; Prism and Waterboy if they were Sanrio style creatures.

Slide 6 is something someone sent in the Waterprism discord server. Hell. Yes. Shout out to @customwoodburningb0ss , I've been a fan for actual years and I'm really happy seeing you still do what you do. I ❤️ didi.

I actually finished this on April 9th (4/9/26) but forgot to post it, oops. It's a short lyric video I did for my graphic design class. We got to choose any song as long as it wasnt explicit. It was to help us learn Adobe After effects. I think I did okay.
I used assets from the game, obviously, but on the next slides I put the parts I made myself.

Happy Juneteenth! I wanted to make a Prism appreciation post because she's like my favorite character in Dispatch.
Sorry about the white guy, he's there too- the only recent Dispatch drawings I have are WaterPrism related.

Anyways uhhh about the drawings themselves. Slides 1+2 I just finished yesterday. I think when she lets her guard down and gets comfortable with someone, Prism would be a very physical laugher. With superhuman strength, such incidents are bound to happen, but I don't think waterboy minds 😉
...I just realized I mixed up the colors on Prism's hair in my drawings, misplaced her beauty mark, AND I fucked up her bob 😭. Fml. Hopefully it doesn't ruin it. Thats what I get for drawing based off my own shitty memory and not having character refs while I draw...

Slide 3 is a older drawing I did on a magma board, I forgot if I posted it or not already but whatever.

Slide 4 is their lovechild they had in Tomodachi life, who I named Rebecca, and now use as my personal official stand-in hypothetical future child for them if they were to go down that route.
Slide 5 is a drawing I made of them at the beach with a younger Rebecca. I meant to paint it too but I ran out of time.

Slide 6 is the reference image I used for that drawing, and Slide 7 is another Tomodachi life screenshot.

The rest of the slides are memes or screenshots, featuring THE one and only Prism! I think the "the thing boys go through" video is in there too at the end for funzies.

I think if you let the music play and then tap the speaker icon thing in the bottom corner to mute it while the clip plays, and do it juuuust right, it plays the original clip audio instead of the music when its muted? Im so sorry, I wish instagram didnt do this..)
I LOVE PRISM!!! So I had to try and draw her. Not only is she awesome as a character, but she CARRIES the missions in game.
I also love the person behind her voice, @blvck.bunnie 🟨🍋💛 so please check out their music and posts. They archive the livestreams where they play Dispatch on their YouTube as well (I put a clip in the post).
I wish I had more to say, but I think this time I got everything in the slides.

Okay so here are some headcanons about Waterboy and his backstory! I used inspo from the concept art to help keep the designs accurate, and also as a sort of appreciation for all the hard work they did getting to the final design. I also wrote up a whole backstory thing for Waterboy too, which I'm gonna try and fit in the comments. Any artists or writers or whatever, feel free to use any of my ideas, just tag me or send me what you make, because I'd love to see it!

So it's a little late for a Halloween post, but whatever. Posting this (with spoiler and trigger warnings) might have gotten me banned from the official homestuck discord?.. so. Wow. Anyways. On Halloween night, I was struck with sudden motivation to make a spooky little animatic for the last time my favs were alive in Homestuck, "[S] Equius: Seek the highb100d". I wish I had the skills to animate this, in my head it would have been visually similar to the works of Satoshi Kon, but alas I must make do with the miniscule excuse for skill that I possess. Enjoy, feel free to pretend in your head that it's better quality. I just needed to get the idea out there.
Honestly, I know nobody gives a fuck about Equius and Nepeta, and even less about them as a couple, (and I mean soulmates) but I do. If EquiNep♡ has no fans, know that I am dead.

Edit: idk what happened and fucked up slide 8, and why it plays twice but stuck on the nepeta image.. but that video clip is so fucking old and I got it from a now abandoned Instagram mutual so. Idk dm me if you want the closest thing I have the actual clip lol.
