Sixty years of wisdom, laughter, kindness, and unwavering faith. Sixty years of standing strong, loving well, and showing up with grace and grit — no matter the season. You have built a life rooted in God’s promises and poured that strength into our family, our marriage, and everyone blessed enough to walk alongside you.

You are the steady hand when life feels uncertain. The warm smile in the room that puts everyone at ease. The protector, the provider, the encourager. Your faith is quiet but powerful. Your heart is generous without condition. And your sense of humor? Oh, how it lights up every moment and keeps our family grounded and laughing🤭

You’ve loved me with integrity, honored your role as a father with devotion, and embraced your circle of friends and family with humility and depth. Watching you live your life — through challenges and triumphs alike — has been the most beautiful lesson in resilience and character I’ve ever witnessed🙏🏽

We are blessed to celebrate a milestone anniversary!🙌🏾🥹

THIRTY years ago (6/24/95) we made a covenant with God to love, honor and obey.

BTW, If you know us then you know that the cartoon pics depict the exact version of us!🤪

We have been asked multiple times ‘what is your secret sauce?’ It’s not a secret.
It’s simply what works for US - prayer, respect, laughter and quality time! AND we guard our marriage on our knees and seeking wise counsel🙏🏽
It’s available to all of us. And it’ll be different for every couple.

We reaffirmed our commitment and looking forward to many more years of love, laughter, understanding, patience, wisdom, peace and friendship.

The only thing we have ever asked of our family and community is your fervent prayers and support.

Happy Mother’s Day🧡

Today, I pause to honor the beautiful women who have poured love, strength, and wisdom into my life—mothers by birth, by choice, and by legacy.

To the biological moms, thank you for the gift of life and for the quiet, tireless ways you show up day after day. Your love is foundational, fierce, and forever.

To the non-biological moms—the aunties, godmothers, mentors, bonus moms, foster moms, stepmoms, and chosen mothers—you are living proof that it doesn’t take biology to build a life of love. You nurture, guide, and uplift in ways that change lives.

To my beloved grandmother (my forever mother🥹), thank you for raising me with grace and resilience. Your legacy lives in everything I do. Though you are no longer physically here, your voice, your prayers, and your unconditional love continue to guide me. I honor your memory with every step I take.
Who I am as woman, a wife, a mother, a friend is because of the extraordinary woman you were🧡🫶🏾

Life Lessons from a Snail: Embrace the Journey, Leave Your Mark, and Know Your Worth

In a world that often glorifies speed, let’s take a moment to appreciate the wisdom of the snail. This tiny creature moves slowly but with purpose—a reminder that progress isn’t about racing ahead but about staying steady and intentional on the path set before us.

✨ Move at Your Own Pace
A snail never rushes, yet it always reaches its destination. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that “those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” You don’t have to keep up with anyone else’s timeline—your journey is unfolding exactly as it should.

✨ Rest is Part of the Process
Snails know when to pause, retreat into their shell, and recharge. Rest is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom. Even God rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2). Honor your need to pause, reflect, and restore—it fuels the strength for what’s ahead.

✨ Leave Your Mark
