A little trip down memory lane… ✨ 15 years ago today, we celebrated the launch of our “Jigsaw Live” CD – a compilation of recordings from several of our concerts, captured completely unedited, just as they happened! 🎶 We marked the occasion at @bangolufsen in Wimbledon Village with @kaija_lukas, @jonathanaostone & @ereiter_viola So many wonderful memories, fantastic musicians and special moments along the way. Little did we know just how much JPCS would grow and how many musical adventures would follow. From that first CD launch to bringing world-class chamber music to our community today, what a journey it has been! A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of it. Here’s to the music, the memories and many more years of JPCS! 🥂💙🎻 #JPCS #Wimbledon #wimbledonvillage #throwback #MakingMusicAccessibleToAll by @ereiter_viola

🎹 DARKNESS, DRAMA & BRILLIANCE: SHOSTAKOVICH’S PIANO QUINTET One of the great masterpieces of chamber music, Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet in G minor, Op. 57 takes us on a journey from solemn introspection to dazzling virtuosity, with moments of tenderness, wit and explosive energy. Written in 1940, the quintet won Shostakovich the prestigious Stalin Prize and remains one of his most beloved chamber works. ✨ Experience this extraordinary music live as part of Echoes of the Night, our season-opening concert this Saturday! 🌙 ECHOES OF THE NIGHT 📅 Saturday 24 October | 7.30pm 📍 Christ Church West Wimbledon 🎻 Performers ✨ Sophia Rahman – Piano ✨ Violetta Suvini – Violin ✨ Henry Chandler – Violin ✨ Emmanuella Reiter – Viola ✨ Bartholomew LaFollette – Cello 🎟️ Adults £15 | Students £5 | Under-18s FREE Book now at www.jigsawplayers.co.uk Come and discover the magic of live chamber music with Jigsaw Players! #Shostakovich #ChamberMusic #ClassicalMusic #wimbledon #concert by @ereiter_viola
👻 What makes Beethoven’s “Ghost” Trio so haunting? Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 5, Op. 70 No. 1, earned its nickname from the mysterious, almost supernatural atmosphere of its slow movement. Its ghostly sounds are often linked to Beethoven’s ideas for a scene from Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The result is music full of suspense, darkness and extraordinary beauty. 🎻 Hear it live this Saturday at Echoes of the Night, our season-opening concert with Jigsaw Players. 📍 Christ Church West Wimbledon 🗓 Saturday 24 October, 7:30pm 🎟 Adults £15 | Students £5 | Under-18s FREE Book now via the link in our bio. #Beethoven #GhostTrio #ChamberMusic #Wimbledon #classicalmusic by @ereiter_viola
