UNTITLED / SS27 MAITREPIERRE DIGITAL SHOW With “Untitled,” Maitrepierre explores the relationship between humans, art, and technology. Inspired by the Narrative Figuration movement of the 1960s, the collection unfolds like a collage, bringing together textures, digital and 3D prints, experimental laser techniques, and rich embroidery. Playing with perspective, scale, and repetition, frames, prints, and pleats distort familiar references and challenge our perception of reality. Denim jackets crumple like sheets of paper. Cardigan buttons turn into pixels. Jeans are covered in three-dimensional scales, while laser-cut satin moves like drops of paint. Getting lost in the flow. Moving through crowds without ever really connecting. Walking among the noise, the colors, the lights, with that strange feeling of being present, yet somehow somewhere else. Haven’t we all experienced that moment—walking through a world that’s constantly moving, feeling disconnected from its pace, its rhythms, its noise—simply searching for a little silence, a little light, maybe even a way back to ourselves? Standing at the crossroads of traditional filmmaking and emerging image-making technologies, « CROSSROADS » combines live-action cinematography, production design and directing with a hybrid post-production pipeline that brings together 3D, VFX, compositing, camera tracking, green-screen production, world building, and AI-generated imagery. Each technique interacts with the others, shot by shot, to create a single cinematic universe suspended somewhere between present-day Paris and the Paris of 2046. A film imagined as a meeting point between human sensitivity, cinematic storytelling, and the new creative possibilities of image technology.
