To the Oldest and Coldest Frat around, Alpha Phi Fraternity Inc. as our story is merely just beginning the storied history of leaders, needle movers, and change makers just grew larger. Brotherhood, service, legacy and leadership, pillars I take pride in holding up for a lifetime.

Reactivated October 11, 2025, the Rho Pi Chapter, the 766th House. My house. Thank you for allowing me and my LB the opportunity to bring a space back for black college men to grow, learn, and develop not just in the classroom but in the real world. Teaching me how to walk into rooms confidently, being able to speak my mind even when it’s not the most popular opinion and standing on it. Thank you for the support of those who came before me and entrusting me to reignite the light and to hold it high.

To the ReinPHorcements of the Empire, my neos, you got the ball now, go score. The world is your oyster, you’re men of distinction and that’s no small title. There will be obstacles and you’re built for them. Always hold your head up high through the highs and the lows. Stay focused, stay disciplined, keep the main thing the main thing. I got your back through whatever I’m only a phone call away. Keep the lights on and hold it high! This is YOUR YARD.

I’ve just walked across the stage and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Marketing. This is for all the big dreamers, the ones whose road is doesn’t seem the clear but the end goal is the clearest.

4 years of school, 1 gap year of self discovery, reinvention, and clarity, culminating in this moment. Learning how to shoot a video to running a business, CCAC, Atlanta, back to Slippery Rock. Thank you to everybody who contributed to getting me to this moment. Friends who listened to the wild ideas, the dreams, the plans. The family who reminded me to take care of myself, rest, mental breaks, and reminders that I have to live where my feet are and I can’t save the world in one day.

Thank you God, without you this moment doesn’t happen. When there was no one in the room and I had nobody to talk to, you listened. When the doubt crept in, you removed it. Making ways out of no way, the reassurances that my path is my path and no one or nothing can come in between that.

Shoutout my family in Atlanta, even 700+ miles away y’all have had such a big role in this moment. Everybody who taught me something about picking up a camera. Those who put in a good word, spoke highly of my name in rooms I wasn’t in. All the encouragement you all sent through this process wasn’t unnoticed. My second home!

Thank you, Slippery Rock 🪨💚 by @eric.hamilt0n
