I’m blessed to be able to serve @csbcwalhallasc

Finally got that thick, creamy low end.

Some people claim tone is in the fingers. Mine is next to the pickles. Proper tube lube is essential for a thick bottom end. I use Duke’s because I can taste the difference.

Getting the new Moog nestled in and reorganizing my little corner. Pausing to reflect on how I had stepped back from music for several years - humbled from experiences and mistakes; thankful to be back in it; and blessed to be surrounded by supportive family and friends. We often get too busy to get to the next “thing”., that we fail to remember and recognize those that encouraged us to try again, those who gave an us advice along the way and the ones who just showed up for a good conversation.

I wouldn’t have gotten back into playing if it weren’t for Hannah @htibbetts88, although I’m sure there are times she has reconsidered that nudge… Regardless, I’m thankful that she reminded me of my love for music and being creative.

I’ve made several good friends along the way. People to lean on, troubleshoot issues, nerd out on gear specs, and bounce wild ideas off of. I am beyond appreciative of having people like @quetzal.e.andrade @chaduplaysbass @ambientbasscreations @lowenddrifter @pedalnetics @prairieheartcustoms @rcmbass @timarievanmoon @dennis.c.palmer and a resounding abundance of others, in my life.

Am I the best at what I do? No.
Do I love it anyway? Yes.
When I miss an accidental in the key of F#, is Jesus still going to love me and forgive me? Yes, plus more.

Thank you to all in my life who are there, and have supported me along the way. ♥️

P.S. Peaches says hi and wants to know if you will hold her.

This thing sounds good! 30 years of playing bass and I finally got an electric guitar! I can get even more use out of Helix Stadium XL now. @htibbetts88 made me do it…

Rehearsal went well tonight @csbcwalhallasc! The choir sounded great!

The @official_line6 Stadium XL did well, used it as page turner with a WiDi Master. Being able to control all of the parameters, tweaks, HPF, etc right there was good and allowed me to focus on playing. Except that one time when I clicked a page turn too quickly, then went back two pages and got a wee bit lost for a few bars 😂 I’m only human. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I ordered this from @prairieheartcustoms back in the Spring. I had quite a few ideas on it and Paul did not disappoint in any way! He delivered on literally everything I asked for! I won’t speak for him and say he can do anything you want, but I can say he will certainly hear you out, research it, partner with vendors and do his best to deliver what you envision.

He partnered with @hipshotproducts for the D-Style bridge I wanted. They were able to come up with a way to allow all of the wiring for the @graphtechguitarlabs saddle piezos to work in the bridge. He worked with @bartolinipups to come up with humbuckers that would work under the ramp and all of the electronics for magnetic pickups (with 3-way coil split switches for each humbucker) and piezos to work together.

As far as some of the other things I wanted - maple ghost fret lines, small inlayed reference dots on the treble side between the G and C strings, double stop detuner on the E string (drops down to C without flopping all over and still has a fat sound!), the Indian Rosewood one piece ramp/pickup cover, and the surprise detail of Sandalwood knobs!

It is truly a work of art that Paul spared no loss of detail on! My job now is to start working on my fretless chops and make it musical! Thanks again, Paul! @prairieheartcustoms

I am still at a loss for words for how this bass turned out! I’m looking forward to getting it in!

Paul @prairieheartcustoms really knocked it out of the park!

How I turned my @piratemidi Bridge 4 function as a Bluetooth page turner. Using @cmepro WiDi Jack to communicate with ForScore on my iPad, while still being able to use the Bridge 4 with the @darkglasselectronics Anagram.

If you have questions, comment or shoot me a DM! I’d be glad to help!
