Hiking summer road at 9am, I met @cshillingphotography and @kaxmahn who guided me through some of the best first laps I’ve had this year. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of the incredible powder playground that is @themtbakerskiarea and being down to stop and shoot!

“Learning to Bake” a video journal of my first winter filming and riding @themtbakerskiarea will be premiering at the Mt. Baker Film Fest on Thursday, October 19th during the 6:30pm showing.

Big thanks to all the amazing friends who made this project possible. Snowboarding/skiing is such a beautiful means of both community connection and creative expression!
I had a blast improving my filmmaking last winter, learning to shoot in the snow, and riding the most powder I’ve ever ridden! I’d like to think 12 year old Eric would be pretty excited about this one!

It’s not often I find myself boardin’ on this side of the lens! @isaacdean.xyz and I learned to shoot in the woods together in high school, so it feels special to hang while he’s clocked in @alpentalwa documenting the day’s riding.

Hopped in with the @evilbicycles crew to experience @tdsenduro for the first time. It was a hoot, I really enjoyed meeting so many kind people and spending the weekend on these beautiful trails I’ve heard so much about.
