June 30th is almost here.

Living in the city and working full time has been making me miss the outdoors and going on little adventures.

I'm finally getting a break and heading to my favorite City this week but it includes a little more rocks.

Well Zion was fun while it lasted, now I'm back to to city life. I've been at my new job the Bouldering Project in Salt Lake for a week now and loving it. I'm excited to see how much I can learn and grow here, but also to really just get back into gym climbing more often.

Even with a shorter winter down here I've still been getting some cabin fever.

Today we got out for some much needed time in the outdoors and it got my spirits up again.

I'm excited to get guiding again and not just waiting the winter out. This year has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to see what happens.

Living in Zion just puts me in a different world. I'm learning so much about myself here.

I don't really know what's going on in the news or social media because people don't talk about it when they are here.

It's nice to be around around so many different groups of people that all just want to enjoy life in the moment and forget what's going on in the world.

It's always hard to appreciate where you are, especially if right now maybe you arent happy. Lately though I've noticed myself looking back longingly and missing a time or a place even though at the time I didn't think I was very happy.

I think for large portions of my life I've always thought "when this happens I will finally be content". That mindset makes you miss out on many opportunities and I've been learning to just not look forward all the time. Just appreciate where you are, even if it's not all perfect.

Ps. Social media is fake and everyone's timelines are different.
