6 years already?

I love you EDC. Thank you for another special year.

After a rough 5th year, the 6th was everything I needed to be reminded why I love coming back every year.

To everyone who I met this weekend, thank you! You are what makes this event so special. I hope to see you all again.

I can’t wait till I can give back to EDC the same way it has to me. But I guess we’ll just have to wait for that.. 😉

What an experience.

First time in Boston and it couldn’t have been a better time. What an honor it was to be chosen to come work one of the biggest Adidas events in the country and only have been with the company for barely half a year. Feels good to be in a place where hard work is recognized. Was a long and tiring weekend but we broke tons of records for the event. So glad to be a part of it.

I met so many amazing people and made so many memories. Shout out to my roommate for showing me the ropes. That weekend MVP couldn’t have gone to a better candidate.

It’s been about a month since EDCLV. My 5th year in a row.

While I look back on this weekend with some fond memories, I found myself not being able to be in the moment. I was always looking towards the next thing. Maybe planning everything for the group is starting to drain me. This is a place for me to sit back, forget, and be present, but I wasn’t.

It’s sad because I had looked forward to this weekend and had inside feelings about how it was going to go. When they say trust your gut, you really should.

Not that it ruined my weekend, but there was so many things that didn’t seem right to me. The vibes were very off for me this year. I was only able to count the good interactions I had the entire weekend on one hand. Compared to last year, where I can’t even recount the amount of good moments I had with people.

I’m glad my day 1s got to come out with me this year, but what that did is it made me realize how important my rave family is here on the west coast. There’s a reason I chose you guys and it becomes clearer everyday.

I felt bad giving Daniela her first experience at EDC this way. I didn’t get to show her everything that makes EXC for me, and for that I feel bad. I was so focused on making sure everyone I was with was doing good, that I forgot to really focus on me or even us. But I know she forgives me for that ❤️ Te Amo Mi Vida ❤️❤️

However, Eric Prydz is the god of electronic music. After seeing him in 2021 by stumbling into his set, I fell in love with his style and ability to bring you on a journey for an hour and a half. Pryda was single Handedly the best set I’ve ever seen in my life. Can’t wait for another chance to see him.

In the end, EDC is still home. But sometimes, I do feel if the new social media crowds have brought their issues inside, and caused problems with many inside. Phone thefts are getting more confident, tik tok fans who show up and treat it like their local dive bar where anytime someone looks at them wrong they get fired up. The amount of shoulder checks I saw and received that weekend was out of this world, and I sure hope that some of these people filter out after the hype of raving and tik tok has died down. taken in Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) by @eric_kebler

Life’s been, weird lately.. to say the least.

But one thing that will never fail to make me happy, is spending time with my best friends and dancing to the music we love. I can’t ask for a better group.
