JTCC-Inspired Supertouring Honda Civic shirts are now available on hybrid-racing.com! Link in my bio! Definitely my favorite shirt yet featuring the 2024/2025 @hybridracing livery with the fan favorite brake dust "white" wheels! The artwork is super aggressive and features all of the car stats at the bottom! Just like the car, this shirt is inspired by the golden era of Japanese Touring Car Racing and the vibe nails it! I went with Vintage Black Bella Canvas, a lighter shirt with a nice tailored fit. It's already pre-shrunk, meaning it won't shrink in the wash, I've tested my own shirt like 5 times in the wash already, and it's still perfect! So yeah, Lime Rock was a complete failure. Not many positives besides some good pictures (thanks @fortuneautousa), epic rollers, a pole position, good paddock hangs, and a damage-free front end lol! Not finishing any of the four Races definitely sucked, especially since we had a FAST car! So what actually happened? I didn't post much because the @hybridracing boys and I were so busy trying to find and fix electrical DBW gremlins. I started Race 1 on pole and after lap two, I had throttle issues which required a full power restart. Every time this happened, I had to coast for a few seconds and get back going. Throughout the race, it got progressively worse to the point I had to retire. We tried everything to fix the issues (listed below), but had no luck... - New throttle body, - Recalibrate the throttle pedal, - Reinforced the throttle pedal stops, - Went back to the 50mm restrictor plate and RA tune, - Turned off autoblip/no lift shift, - Checked all grounds and wire continuity, - Fixed a coupler lock on the ECU connector, - Cleaned all the ECU and harness pins, - Inspected the engine harness for shorts/cuts, - Duplicated the throttle pedal sensor APP1, - Duplicated the throttle pedal sensor APP2, I'm still stumped on what the actual issue is. I've been looking at the data and started to tear down the cabin harness last night. I also purchased a replacement Penny and Giles throttle position sensor. That was the only part we didn't replace since I didn't have a spare. Getting the rear suspension dialed in! Step one is to determine all the pivot points, making sure everything has clearance, and then analyzing the geometry in vsusp/optimumk, followed by 8 revisions. Then it’s up to Kody at @hybridracing to actually design the billet knuckle. We’re taking a lot of inspiration from the OG SuperTouring Accords and once again, like the front, moving both arms within the wheel.
