MON 10/26: Sgt. Splendor feat. Kate Vargas & Eric McFadden 🌵

Sgt. Splendor’s carnivalesque alt-rock goes bare-bones: just voice, guitar, and a whole lot of spark. Kate Vargas spins haunting, Tom Waits-style tales, and Eric McFadden (George Clinton, Eric Burdon) fires back with flamenco-tinged fretwork. Think swampy Americana, junkyard folk, and desert blues.

Sitting in: Norwood Fisher of Fishbone and Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros, plus more special guests! 🎸

A little “Cemetery” with @eric_mcfadden at Zihuaguutar Festival. Despite the title, we had a pretty good time living. 😉 Always a blast trading notes with Eric!

Sgt. Splendor feat. Eric McFadden and Kate Vargas is the perfect collaboration with the Soiled Dove immersive circus starring folk legend Joan Baez and the Vau de Vire Society. Fantastic array of guitar playing from acoustic to electric in a fantastical setting. MON 10/26: Sgt. Splendor feat. Kate Vargas & Eric McFadden 🌵

The carnivalesque alt-rock of Sgt. Splendor gets stripped down to voice, guitar, and a whole lot of spark. Kate Vargas brings her haunting, Tom Waits-style storytelling, and Eric McFadden (George Clinton, Eric Burdon) answers with fiery, flamenco-tinged guitar. Expect swampy Americana, junkyard folk, and desert blues.

Sitting in: Heavy hitters Norwood Fisher of Fishbone and Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction and Porno for Pyros, plus more special guests!

1st single off our upcoming 4th album out OCTOBER 30 on @motherwest. Produced and drums played by the beastly Falcon Greenwell (Tedeschi Trucks Band). “Tarantula” responds to the age-old question, “but what does it mean?” with “how much does that matter?”

A true honor and pleasure to work with the legendary Joan Baez at the @thesoileddove in Alameda, CA
Joan is a national treasure and righteous human, who after more than six decades, continues to give of herself in the fight against tyranny, injustice, and inhumanity. Her impact and influence on our culture in regards to music, art and activism cannot be overstated. Thank you, @joancbaezofficial see you at the circus!
