As I close this chapter, I do so with gratitude in my heart and purpose in my steps. Becoming a woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was more than a dream. It was a calling placed on my life long before I ever stepped foot on campus. I am proud to carry the legacy of my grandmother, whose footsteps I now follow with honor and pride.

To the beautiful ladies of the Enchanting Eta Mu Chapter, thank you for giving me a home during my time here. You offered me more than membership. You gave me community, tradition, and sisterhood. I will always be grateful for the love and lessons I received.

To my Prophytes, thank you for laying a foundation that made our journey possible. Your sacrifice and leadership made a way for S.T.O.R.M. Thank you for protecting our process, for setting the standard, and for leaving a blueprint of excellence. I will always honor the doors you opened and the sacrifices you made.

To my Spec, thank you for being a guiding light. Your support helped me stay grounded, diligent, and focused. Because of you, I walked this path with more confidence and clarity than I ever thought possible. I am forever indebted.

To my Line Sisters, thank you for walking beside me. We faced challenges with grace and met every moment with faith and determination. Words can’t explain how proud I am of us. I could not have asked for a stronger group of women to grow alongside.

This moment belongs to every woman who came before me, who poured into me, and who believed in the power of sisterhood and service. I leave this chapter proud, humbled, and ready to serve with excellence.

All my love,
16 HM 25

As I’m transitioning into 23 under the warm embrace of Tulum’s sun, I’m reminded of God’s abundant grace and blessings. Here, amidst the beauty of creation, I find solace in His presence and gratitude in my heart. I celebrate not just another year, but the strength, resilience, and joy that define my journey. In this moment, I choose to live fully, embracing every breath, every smile, every step, without the need for a recording & immediately posting. For life’s greatest treasures are found not in pixels, but in the whispers of the wind, the dance of the waves, and the love that surrounds me. Here’s to embracing the beauty of now, trusting in God’s plan, and stepping into 23 with unwavering faith and endless possibilities. Happy birthday to me, in the divine simplicity of living fully present. taken in Tulum,Mexico by @erica.monet
