There’s never a good time to come to terms with this but my dad has dementia. As someone who has been very close to this disease for awhile, I can confidently say Trump has signs of late term dementia. It’s truly elder abuse to have him in this election despite his narcissism.

There are a billion reasons that Donald Trump shouldn’t be president. As a DC resident, I saw January 6th firsthand and the damage it did to our city. As a woman, I know no one should have rights to my uterus other than myself. As a human being with brain cells, I ask how the hell are we in a position where a man with this bad of a spray tan and toupee can run a country???

In all seriousness, I’m sick to my stomach that this is even a debate. There is only one candidate of sane mind and she is what’s best for America. On behalf of my 80 year old, south Philly Italian father and myself, a childless cat lady, we can’t wait to cast our votes for future president Kamala Harris.

And if you have an issue with this, first of all go eat a bar of soap. Then let me know what Trump’s policy resignates most with you (hint: there are none!)

I’m still in disbelief to be writing this but our sweet Piper girl crossed the rainbow bridge this past weekend. No amount of time would’ve ever been enough but I’ll never understand why she was taken from us so soon. From the moment we met her, she brought immeasurable love and joy into our lives. She was truly the happiest cat and made sure we always knew that. No words could ever truly describe the impact she had on us and the grief we feel without her. She was one of a kind. Today she would’ve turned a year and a half so in her honor, please give your fur babies a little extra treat and hug tonight.

Piper, I hope kitty heaven is full of bird watching, string cheese, and someone playing fetch with you at all hours. We’ll carry you with us for the rest of our lives. Thank you for the endless love, laughs, and memories. Until we meet again 🤍 by @erica_dangelo
