Zoals beloofd een Sneak Preview van mijn publicatie in Realmag, een zichzelf ontdekkend magazine over identiteit, kunst en wetenschap met mijn Polaroid serie Otherwordly in 2020 gemaakt om mijn vader te eren die overleden is in maart 2020 en een interview over onder andere mijn werk proces met deze foto serie.Als je het dikke magazine wilt bestellen. For the people who want to know how it goes with my writing already in the final phase! Not sure how long it will take. But I have finished my writing course ✨💪🏽🌞with a professional certificate of @nanouk_leopold proud of the feedback thanks a lot for this amazing year!❤️✍️🙏🏽The small bundle (book) will be about my roots, literally roots, forgotten roots and roots everybody has but did not know of how many branches it consists. Today is the first day of my holiday I saw this plant of mine and it was stuck in a plantpot it has grown out already a long time ago. Blij verrast was ik afgelopen donderdag dat mijn zelfportret een Polaroid emulsie lift met de titel Sentarie werd gekocht! Al op de eerste dag van de expositie about A woman IN YOUR FACE. De titel refereert naar mijn Indonesische voormoeder. De enige voormoeder waar we alleen de voornaam van weten. Ik heb namelijk ook Surinaamse en Guadeloupse roots. Zij was een wees. Haar man was Zwitsers en daar weten we wel de voor en achternaam van. Ook hij was wees. It was a lovely day! @south_explorer_rotterdam Yesterday 32 people came to visit my artist house. I have even forgotten to make images of all the people . These 3 images are the only images, I have made yesterday. Most of the time people I have never met came by and some have visited me more then once at previous South Explorer editions. People told their dreams, their fears, somebody visited me who knew me from way back 20 years ago when I was young and teached photography at Buitenkunst in nature at a artistic camping, she was an collegue I did remember her face but forgot where we have met 20 years ago.At a certain moment photographer @studiodeep.nl the South Explorer photographer was on his socks in my livingroom and photographed with high bubly energy the visitors who were there at that moment, we had to laugh out loud. We used the softbox in my studio so my house became a photostudio for a few minutes.Thanks for passing by! It was a lovely day🌞 by @ericabaltimore

Nog 11 dagen! Ik ben er ook weer bij voor alweer de 6e keer onderdeel van South Explorer dat deze keer plaatsvindt in Feijenoord op zaterdag 27 juni en op zondag 28 juni in Charlois! Ik open mijn kunstenaarswoning op zondag 28 juni , waar je mij bezig kan zien aan nieuw werk maken. Van 12:00- 18:00 uur ben ik aanwezig. Tot dan! @south_explorer_rotterdam by @ericabaltimore

It is a wrap! My artworks: a short film, digital, analogue photography and a viewmaster serie have been shown at @huisderzotheid from 14 May-5 June at the group exhibition What remains.Thanks to Wilma for the hospitality and feeling welcome and the two amazing artists @mvanmaarenproducts @pimtekenaar for the nice collaboration. And thanks Bjorn de Leeuw for the beautiful interview you had with all the artists and your talk at the opening!
