His Eye is on the Sparrow 🕊️The first song I ever sang publicly at 14 years old for my high school talent show…and the one song I would continue singing publicly (and privately) for the next 10 years after that. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the depth of what I was singing about - honestly, I loved it because of the ‘Sister Act’ movie ☺️ IYKYK. But little did I know, that song would become a declaration over my younger years because God already saw everything that was ahead. Every heartbreak. Every struggle. Every prayer. Every moment that would eventually lead to this one.On the last night of class, a student leader gave her mini sermon titled “His Eye is on the Sparrow.” (I see you @parisvalece 😘) And in that moment, I felt God whisper so clearly: I’ve always been here. What a full-circle moment. God truly is in the details. 🤍Saying YES to God in the places He is calling you isn’t always easy… but it is always, always worth it.Walking in my purpose has come at a cost. There have been stretching seasons, sacrifices, uncertainty, and moments where I had to trust Him far beyond what I could see. But time and time again, God has redeemed every hard place and given me greater than I could have imagined. His promises are always true! 🥹🙌🏼Last night, graduating from Year 2 of @schoolofpurposeaz and being ordained as a Minister was such a tender reminder of His faithfulness through it all.Thank you to my dear friends, Pastors @joey.a.salinas and @jjnasalinas for always calling out the greatness in me and never wavering in your belief in who God created me to be. Years ago, my heart longed to step into this journey under your leadership, but the timing and circumstances around me made that path feel impossibly far away. Yet, God never forgot the desire He placed in my heart, and here I am today 🫶🏼I am so grateful. So thankful.
