Happy 22nd birthday to the most independent, loyal, dedicated, and loving young man who I am blessed to call my son. Zach Pohl we all love you so much and are so proud of you. So I do not complain much about the military or how our soldiers are treated but I felt inclined to comment and share this. Literally just burger and rice and no vegetables even offered. My son is an E-5, paratrooper in The 82nd Airborne and this is the kind of crap they are feeding him regularly. Oh and did I mention they take $400 a month from his pay to cover his food. Clearly we can do better for the men and women who serve this country! by @ericafpohl

It’s crazy how it has worked out that when both my boys first moved out on their own(different states and one joined the army and one off to college) my sister Moriah Mattingly and brother in law Bill Mattingly Jr have been there to support them. When Zach got his first duty station on Ft Bragg Moriah was stationed there and now that Layton is at Troy she is stationed at Ft Rucker only 40 minutes away. Bill was able to go see Layton and take him to lunch today! Thanks Uncle Bill!!! by @ericafpohl
