POSTS STORIES REELS

For this San Francisco family, we infused warmth and texture into a
modern layout using layered neutrals, fluted wood paneling, curated open
shelving, and sculptural accents. The custom built-ins bring both function
and quiet luxury, while natural materials and a muted palette add that relaxed yet elevated feel our clients love. We softened layout with layered upholstery, warm woods, and earthy tones, all anchored by generous natural light and a view of the Bay! Every detail, from the tailored millwork to the styled shelves, reflects thoughtful, livable design. This was such a fun and rewarding project!

Before this became my business, I was helping friends and family create homes that felt more like them. Over time, that instinct grew into something more intentional, shaped by years of experience and a deep understanding of how people actually live in their spaces.

Today, my goal is still the same. To create homes that feel personal, considered, and easy to live in—spaces that reflect not just how you want them to look, but how you want to feel.

Because good design, to me, is never about trends. It’s about creating something that lasts.

If you’re thinking about your own project, I’d love to hear from you. Head to my website to book a free consultation.

One of the little puzzles of open-plan living: how do you give each space its own identity while keeping everything connected?

Here, shades of blue carry through the seating, pottery and kitchen stools, while rugs and furniture arrangements define places to gather. There’s a lot of variety, but your eye has a familiar thread to follow.

That’s the balance I look for. Rooms that feel connected.

I love a white kitchen with a little personality. The backsplash brings such lovely texture to this one, and those blue and white pieces above the refrigerator deserve their moment, too.

There’s room for your favorite pottery, a little pattern, and the blue pot you reach for all the time. Those are the details that make a kitchen feel like home.

Taking a little fall color inspiration from one of our own projects. 🍂

Rich blues, warm ochre, rust, natural wood, and touches of red create the cozy feeling we start craving this time of year without relying on anything overtly seasonal.

Proof that a fall-inspired palette can have staying power well beyond October.

Warm, inviting, and ready for a long dinner around the table. #CollegeAveProject

Designing a smaller dining area is a lesson in choosing the right pieces.

Scale, shape, circulation, and visual weight all matter. Here, an oval table softens the footprint and allows the space to function comfortably without sacrificing a generous place to gather.

A closer look at some of our favorite details in this space. Natural textures, custom built-ins, collected objects, and a bold pop of color - all pieces that create a home that feels layered, personal, and thoughtfully designed.

One of the easiest ways to make a room feel connected? Carry a color throughout the space.

In this bedroom, blue appears in the floral fabric, upholstered chair, and bedside lamp. The shade shifts slightly from piece to piece, creating just enough variation while giving your eye something familiar to follow throughout the room.

It’s a simple detail, but one that helps the entire space feel considered and cohesive.

Some rooms speak for themselves, and this is one of them.

When designing the living room for our #OliveProject, I wanted it to feel full of character, with a few unexpected moments throughout.

The cheetah-print ottomans are one of my favorite pieces in the room. I loved the shape, the playful hit of pattern, and the fact that they provide extra seating when needed. They’re a good reminder that even the most functional pieces can bring something special to a space.

A little curve can go a long way.

The sculptural shape of these island chairs brings such a beautiful, organic feel to this kitchen. The softly curved backs and natural wood finish add warmth and movement, creating a lovely contrast against the clean lines of the cabinetry.

We love how a piece can be both functional and feel like a piece of art. It's these thoughtful details that bring personality into a space.

Are you drawn to furniture with softer, organic shapes?

Lately in the studio, it’s been all about the details that move a project forward. Sourcing pieces, making selections, reviewing materials, coordinating installs, and making sure every decision works together before it makes its way into a space.

There’s a lot that happens between the initial vision and the finished room, and this is where so much of it comes together.
