Some people are more than just artists. They become a part of the soundtrack of your life — and Dolly Parton has always been that for me. 🦋

Her music has been there through so many chapters of my life. Through the happiest moments, the saddest days, and the hard times when I needed something to lift my heart and remind me to keep going. Her voice, her words, her humor, her strength, and that beautiful spirit have brought me comfort and joy more times than I could ever count.

Dolly was so much more than an icon. She represented kindness, strength, authenticity, generosity, and staying true to who you are. She has touched generations of people around the world, and I feel incredibly lucky that her music and everything she represents have also become so special to my boys. That makes her even more precious to me.

I am so glad that my son and I were able to see her in concert. Where she sparkled so bright that you couldn’t capture her on the pictures. A memory I will cherish forever. He was even born on her birthday.

Thank you, Dolly, for being part of the happy times, for helping carry me through the sad and difficult ones, and for giving the world so much of your heart. You will always hold such a special place in mine and in my boys’ hearts. 💗

Chicago showed us love once again!

Our second trip out for Ranflas at the Drive-In, presented by Amistad CC, was nothing but a good time! It was great catching up with so many familiar faces from our last visit and meeting even more amazing people from the Chicago lowrider community.

It was a little hot out there, but that didn’t stop anyone! The ranflas were looking clean, the people were out enjoying the day, and @supadupakae kept the jams going and the vibe right. 🎶

Amistad CC came through with some great raffle prizes and awards, and La Cultura Magazine was proud to hand out 11 Top Pick awards to some incredible rides.

We were also honored to present a Special Recognition Award to Pedro Cisneros @showpipes for his dedication, contributions, and continued commitment to the lowrider community. Much respect and well deserved! 🏆🙏🏽

To Amistad CC and the entire Chicago Lowrider Community — thank you for welcoming La Cultura back with open arms. The love and support you continue to show us means more than you know. This culture is about more than the cars — it’s the people, the friendships, the respect, and the familia we meet along the way.

You showed us a great time once again and we appreciate you!

The first weekend of September was one for the books! 🔥 We hit three amazing shows, each bringing its own vibe, incredible rides, and great people.

Niles streets were packed with cars and spectators! It was great seeing so many familiar faces and catching up with good friends we hadn’t seen in a while. Nothing beats cruising through a town filled with beautiful rides and people enjoying the culture.

Next up was the annual community BBQ hosted by @friscosfinest.carclub, and they definitely showed out! The park was packed with cars and people, with everyone lining up for their delicious BBQ—and needless to say, it was worth the wait! Great weather, good food, beautiful rides, and a community simply enjoying the day together. ❤️

We also stopped by @scale_master_builders_expo, where we saw some badass model cars, RCs, and bikes. The paintwork, details, creativity, and accessories throughout the displays were seriously on point. Once again, we got to catch up with friends and meet some great new people along the way.

There’s nothing like being surrounded by beautiful rides, great people, and a community that shares the same passion for the culture.

Three shows. One amazing weekend. Until the next ones…
