Twinning with my besties! Did you know October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month? It’s a month to celebrate people with Down syndrome, raise awareness, and promote inclusion, acceptance and advocacy.
This is just one small (and adorable) example of what inclusion and friendship can look like with our friend O and her friend E. They created a “chop hug” together, which is just adorable and heartwarming.
We could all learn something from these two about accepting and loving each other for exactly who they are.

The Bay Port Girls Golf Team are STATE RUNNERS UP!! Many of these girls have played golf together since they were in elementary school, which makes it extra special! Just so proud of this team!! Eva set a different kind of record yesterday, being the FIRST player in 54 WIAA Golf Championships to do it in a walking boot! Her GRIT never ceases to amaze us. I was tired walking 18 holes, I couldn’t imagine doing it in a walking boot but she did it without a single complaint because she was just so happy to be out there competing! What an amazing run Bay Port! Now time to dry my happy tears, rest my feet and think of the many happy memories we have all had together. Love you all!! by @ericakentop

Heading back to State for the 10th year in a row! An incredible feat in any sport! Pictured with Jeff Johnsen, who surprised the girls with the shirts, he was the coach who got this rollin! So proud of this team!
As for Eva, another 18 holes walking and golfing in a boot. We are always in awe of her strength, grit and determination. Injury recovery is no joke. Those of you that have experienced a more intensive long term injury know the mental anguish is often worse than the physical pain. Thankful for the people in Eva’s life who continue to lift her up. Honestly it’s a pain, both mental and physical, you never can know until you experience it. I don’t wish it on anyone. Much love to the people going through it right now. I have been a huge fan of Dolly since my middle school besties Mom introduced me to her, constantly playing it in her truck and home. Shes not only one of my favorite singers but I love everything about the person she is. What’s not to love about her? We lost a good one today, the World needs more Dollys 😞 by @ericakentop

After 2 months of non weight bearing, 6 weeks post op, Evas finally able to put 25% of her weight on her left foot with crutches. We’ve been waiting for this! Next week we add 25% more.
