This U11 team had a great regular season. Gabe played center and played a great 2 way game. He scored lots of goals but most notably, he took pride in being a playmaker. On Saturday at BWC gabe had a goal and 3 beautiful assists. He set up his buddy Gavin for his 1st goal and after the game he gave him a puck with tape on it, and Gavin’s number. I’m so proud of him. Looking forward to upcoming tournaments and the playoffs. Let’s go blues! by @ericamberg

There’s always hesitation and unknowns going into an inaugural season for anything, at the end of the day this has been a great experience! I see there’s a bright future for @coastaltsunami @scminorhockey @powellrivermha @bchlkings. Huge thanks to the coaches for providing such a positive environment for these kids to thrive in at the end of their season. , Also huge thanks to all the other coaches our u9-u11 squad @jw00dsy @c.hawk @bentripp334 @nanson22 you’ve all helped these young ones learn the game and so much more. Gabe’s first word was hockey (“hocka”). Such an awesome few years watching him find his game. All signed up for 23/24 szn/tryouts and camp in August. This kid couldn’t be more excited to start playing league hockey! In the meantime, we’ll be at the beach thoroughly enjoying the summer 🤙🏼 🏖️ ☀️ 💯 🏒 🩵
