13 years ago, I gave birth to the most precious baby girl.

For the past 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into the most beautiful, strong, and independent young lady. She is so funny, has the best personality, and brings so much joy into my life.

Time is truly a thief. I swear I blinked, and my baby is 13. 🥹

Happy birthday, baby girl. I am so proud of the person you’re becoming, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things life has in store for you.

Two years ago, I walked down the aisle to the love of my life , my safe place, my home. ❤️

These have been the calmest, most loving, and most fun two years of my life. I wish I could make time stand still. Thank you for the endless laughs, the love, and for making life so sweet.

This was hanging in one of my client’s homes and I had to stop and read it.

“It’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want.”

A little reminder I think we all need sometimes. Life doesn’t have a timeline. You can change direction, start over, try something new, or become a completely different version of yourself whenever you’re ready.

I hope you live a life you’re proud of. And if you don’t, I hope you have the courage to start over. ❤️

We just stepped outside and wow… the video doesn’t even do it justice. The sky is so orange and hazy, and you can actually smell the smoke in the air. Hoping everyone stays safe, especially anyone with asthma or other breathing issues by @ericameadows_

Sometimes I forget to pause and say thank you. For the way you listen when I ramble, step in without being asked, and carry so much so I don’t have to. You are my safe place… my problem solver and I don’t take it lightly.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads out there, but especially to my husband.

Thank you for all the little things that often go unnoticed but mean the world to our family. From staying up late helping with homework, to standing outside in the freezing snow grilling burgers because that’s what the kids were craving. From packing up the camper and heading out on adventures so we can make memories together, to stocking up on Dollar Tree candy and drinks for our family movie nights at home.

Thank you for the late night driving sessions to help our oldest get the hours he needs for his license. Thank you for teaching the kids how to use the lawnmower, care for the yard, and take pride in working hard. Thank you for spending countless hours driving to soccer games and dive meets, cheering from the sidelines, and always showing up for the moments that matter most.

Thank you for taking a week off work to get the car ready that you bought for Andrew so he could have it for his 16th birthday. Thank you for letting your bonus daughter paint your fingernails because she wanted to “make you pretty” and for embracing every silly, sweet moment that comes with being a dad.

Thank you for the endless dad advice, the laughter, the life lessons, and all the giggles that fill our home. Thank you for always showing up no matter what. Whether it’s a big milestone, a hard day, a sporting event, a camping trip, or a simple movie night at home, we can always count on you to be there.

You work so hard to make sure our kids feel loved, supported, and happy, and you do it without hesitation. The kids are incredibly lucky to have you as their dad, and I am so grateful to have you as my husband.

We love you more than words can express. Thank you for being the heart of so many of our favorite memories, for leading by example, and for loving us so well.
