some birthday fun w/ the girls 💖

As I close the door on this year, I think back on what I’ve accomplished in 2023. I had my kidney autotransplant this past summer in June to help give me a happier, healthier life due to my LPHS. I started a new full time job only 13 days after surgery as an Ecommerce Director (remote) at Good Clean Love. It hasn’t been easy, heck it’s been really hard. There’s good days and bad days, but I’m so lucky to have the good days with the people I love so much 🫶 taken in Astoria, New York by @ericanicks

For almost 2 years these nurses stood by my side and became my close friends. Living with LPHS has been quite the journey. From getting diagnosed with the rare condition to my autotransplant being performed at Mount Sinai Manhattan, I’m so lucky to have the support of all of my doctors and nurses. My journey still continues, but I’m living a happier, healthier life. Being able to visit them all today 3 months post surgery means everything to me.
