hi i'm erica and this is my petition to be your creative comfort creator 💛 dayum alliteration On the surface, I'm a an IT graduate who recently became a full-time creator and now has dreams to own my own creative studio (though we're still figuring out what that looks like)...hehe. wouldn't it be cool to design cool worlds for brands!?!? But if you look closely I'm just a 23 yr old girl in Sydney, who has common immigrant family struggles and would love to retire my dad wherever he wants 🥹 I love to move my body, eat good food, create cool memories with cool people and get lost in really good books with magic. and most of all, I've always just loved the simple act of creating stuff: photos, videos, art, cakes...create!! 🙂‍↕️ so I hope to create many more things and share it to the world in hopes it inspires girls like me to be a bit braver and put themselves out there because you never know where life will take you! I certainly didn't think I could be a full time creative and yet here I am, so you can too. by @ericas.mov

17/90 of trying to make $5K in 90 days I was really scared to add the extra fees on top of my video package but my client asked to adjust our contract for 1 month of extra usage rights and wanted to edit the content for variations after I gave it to them… So. So I tried charging and DIDN’T try lowering the number before sending the email. And they said they were happy and sent through the signed contract Please don’t be scared to price high because the client will tell you if it works for them or not!! Is it possible? Well…as of this moment I’m contracted to make a total of $3900 JUST IN JULY. I’m FIFTEEN days into this journey 😳 all inbounds btw LOL HELPP I HAVE NIL CAPACITY TO OUTREACH ATM I will say I’ve been a bit of a yes man and am struggling to juggle my personal brand while creating my deliverables but I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY. Building this life for myself has me editing at the awesome @o3space at 12pm on a Monday 😭😭 Yuh. I’m Erica, a 23 year old creative from Sydney Australia who’s trying to build her life of autonomy by going all in on a creative dream: CONTENT CREATION! I’m on a 90 day challenge to earn $5k or I go back to my retail job…. It’s day 9/90 and I thought I’d share how posting consistently has been going, what helped me post consistently and the results from doing so! I’m not kidding…start with one pillar. i’ve been focusing on yapping about this journey then just doing lots of low effort content HAHAHA

UGC is very much about having trust with your audience and its best built by having your own brand.
I truly believe your energy is better spent connecting with your community than spending hours cold pitching…

but I am working on my cold outreach too…
