This is a resurrection. A re-birth. A re-brand.🌱 The experience of Erica's Kitchen taught me some of the biggest and hardest lessons of this life. I've always had a heart longing to serve others. However, doing so without first serving myself was a very important lesson that my soul came here to learn. I needed to live with, and through, the consequences that came from being a people pleaser, who completely sacrificed herself and her wellbeing, in order to continuously serve others from a well that had run dry. I believed that was what I was meant to do and be, that it was how I was meant to live this precious life. That belief nearly killed me. It has been a decade since I crawled from the ashes of that life. I've been blessed with the time and space to deeply heal, alchemize, and integrate. To gain tremendous clarity about myself, who I am & who I am becoming, and my life's work and purpose. Erica's Kitchen was born out of my passion for nourishing others. I know now that my soul birthed it to teach me the absolute necessity of nourishing and healing myself first. I am profoundly grateful for this lesson. Although I will not be opening another cafe, no fucking way🤣, I will be creating and holding spaces filled with delicious foods, tools, and rituals to nourish the whole being - body, mind, and divine. Erica's Kitchen Sanctuary is being born from the alchemy of my life's healing journey thus far. From pain transformed into true purpose. From a strong foundation and solid frame with the deepest roots. From the overflow of a full and nourished cup. From a deep well of peace, joy, gratitude, and love within me. Whether it's a circle, a class, a workshop, or a retreat, once the scents of delicious food and plant magic guide you through the doorway, my prayer and intention is that all who enter feel safe, seen, and sacred. This is my offering. This is my medicine. This is my sacred gift to give and to share. Healing, time, and clarity have shown me that Erica's Kitchen was not the coffin it so often felt like.
