WE DID IT, FRIENDS! We received the People’s Choice AND Business of the Year awards tonight! My heart is so so full & I couldn’t do it without all of you. Thank YOU for all your support. Thank YOU for another fulfilled dream. Thank YOU for being so good to me. Erica’s Cookie Co. will be moving back to where it all started… an at home bakery.

Our last day at the shop will be Friday, July 4th so we hope you come out and celebrate with us! While we’ll no longer have our beloved storefront, WE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! We are hoping to attend the Saturday Markets where you can still find all your favorite cookies. I’ll also be doing cookie preorders for holidays and custom requests as my schedule allows.

Friends, this has been the hardest decision I’ve had to make. How do you walk away from a place you felt like was built for you? A place where you feel you belong. I will miss seeing all of your faces on Saturdays. I will miss the hustle and bustle of community events and the city parades happening right in front of the shop. The crowds of people lining the streets with chairs will always be my favorite. I will miss prepping dough in my kitchen & packaging all your orders at my work station. I will miss seeing the line out the door during the holidays. I will miss standing behind the counter to greet you and the look on my husband’s face when I tell him he has to work on Saturday.

But the time has come for me to downsize. Being a business owner in today’s economy is tough. We’ve experienced the highest of highs, the lowest of lows and everything in between. I loved every minute of being able to unlock my door, flip my sign to open and share my dream with all of you. This experience is one that I will carry with me always. Not all is lost friends. I am hopeful for the future of Erica’s Cookie Co. I am looking forward to more time with my family, Saturday morning breakfast at home and slowing down a bit.

Thank you for the 3+ years of supporting me and my storefront dreams. Thank you for celebrating your special occasions with cookies. Thank you to the Old Town community, businesses and the people of Galt who welcomed me and continue to stick by me. Thank you to Amy, Heather and Shawn who believed in me and brought me right along side them into their building and always made me feel welcome and supported.

Thank you for helping me find my place, one cookie at a time.

Books. Butterflies. Babies. Yes, please! The print on the bottle is this sweet babies bedroom wallpaper and the print on the swaddle is a pattern from her blanket 🫶🏼 Little sweet details that get poured into each set to personalize it just for you 🤗

Loved creating this lemon set for my customer 🍋💕Believing in beautiful beginnings while they wait for their main squeeze to come 🌸 I feel like a lemons are a popular theme this summer for graduations, parties, baby showers and home decor 🍋 If you’re a baker, did you have a lot of lemon themed sets? If you decorated your home for summer, did you use lemons in your decor? I did 🙈😆

Yesterday was such a fun day! Thank you to everyone that came out, braved the heat and supported us and The Galt Saturday Market! There were other events happening around town so we appreciate YOU 🫶🏼

I judged the Local Bakers competition and had a plate full of cookies after that my family was happy to dig into! It was great to see so many people enter their cookies. Amazing how pretty much all the same ingredients can taste so different 😋

We brought home 2nd place in the chocolate chip cookie competition 🍪🙌🏼

I got to hang with my fellow cookie and baker girlies @wildheartbreadco and @little.bird.bakery_ and I got to meet Amie from @simplysweetsbyamie ☺️ give her a follow friends! Her cookies are huge and a hit here in town 🫶🏼

Lindsay, thank you for creating space for us and giving us a home on your counter in the shop! Appreciate you, friend 😘

And even though it was a slow cookie sales day for us, we love doing what we do and sharing it with you. Thank you for showing up for us! We love you, Galt ❤️ taken in Galt, California by @ericascookieco
