Reposting my painting with some more close ups-

new painting “Resilience” 30”x40” Oil on Canvas 💚🖤💛🤍🦋

I had so much fun working on this painting and discovered a lot of new emotions throughout this piece. My main focus was the protea flower (also known as sugarbush) which is known to still bloom after wildfires. This inspired my painting— and also made me realize something in myself— no matter how many hardship and challenges I face I still find a way to overcome them no matter what. These past months I have went through some intense changes and it has been and will always be nice to express it through my art. The butterflies represent peace and growth after change and looking within🤍

"Solace" Oil on Canvas 36inx48in 🌷🩷🌸💚
So happy I finished this painting after months and my largest piece yet! This painting is very meaningful to me and represents finding comfort in the present moment and slowing down to just be, while also dealing with grief and heartbreak. During the spring I spent my lots of time in nature and with animals which inspired me to make this painting, which is a very different style from my other pieces but I'm so glad I decided to do it and step outside the box. I put lots of love and emotion into it as well as detail and I am so proud of how it came out🩷

“Land of Her Dreams” 16x20 Oil on Canvas
Part One

I made this painting in rememberance of my mom. Sometimes in my dreams she visits me and I dream different versions of her in all different scenarios that leaves me questioning why and what is the purpose of seeing her…. What is she trying to tell me and why did she appear? Sometimes I think she wants to show me how she felt or suffered, sometimes its love or protection or it just a visit. This is what the orbs represent— they are the different dreams I have with my mom and the curiosity questioning if they mean anything at all. I chose to see it as a sign from her regardless of what type of dream it is— just to see her feels warm 🤍❤️💜

My whimsical girl!! Oil on Canvas, Part 1 of 3 finished 🧡💫💜✨
This painting is about the feeling of wanting to be loved but feeling closed in and being afraid to let go and be open again — the first part of the journey before becoming fully vulnerable! Told through the hysteria of a girl that is dreaming in her own world! 🌎

My second piece in my current series is finished 🌿🌸🌀!!Oil on Canvas🧡💜

This painting represents the journey of wanting to open up and the inner spiraling that happens before fully letting go. The challenges and fears presented must be faced in order for her to grow. The only way for her to fully experience love and joy is to let go; letting go of all ego, letting herself be vulnerable and allowing herself to grow mentally and emotionally. All she has to do is let go 🩵

My girl is so luminous!! 🌟My third piece for my series is finished💛💚🩵

This piece represents the after stages of letting go and letting yourself be open to love and accept abundance into your life🌟She has let go of all her ego, fears, self judgement and believes in herself. I made this painting based off of how I feel when I let myself be free and open with myself and the give love freely to the people I care about around me whether that be family friends or my relationship. Being and my most authentic self puts me in the most beautiful space and surroundings I never thought I could be in. And being vulnerable has always been an opportunity to grow. It all starts from within🌟

“Safe Space” 24x48 in Oil Painting on Canvas 💜💚

I haven’t posted art in a while but recently I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone and focus more on safe spaces and trying new things and that is what I plan to do with this new series I worked on💜
