it’s national coming out day, and I’m so glad you’re here 💖

today I’m thinking about all the years I spent pretending to be something I wasn’t, because the word “lesbian” felt dirty to say (thank you religious trauma & patriarchy for that). I’m thinking about how younger me felt sick to my stomach trying to date men and thinking I was broken or that something was wrong with me. I’m thinking of how dark of a place I got to before finally admitting that I was attracted to women. I wish I could go back, give her a hug & tell her how beautiful it is to be a lesbian.

on this coming out day I want you to know, that even if you don’t feel safe to do so yet, that I am so glad you’re here 💖

life lately has consisted of:
- a Zolita concert
- a 76th Street concert
- cats, cats, and more cats (feat Frankie’s masterpiece of messing up our bathroom rug)
- new shoes!!
- i finally got to eat lettuce at a restaurant bc it was local so ofc i documented it
- got a new tattoo and my sensitive skin was on the struggle bus that first couple days, so i had to elevate and ice it lol
- me and my iPad against the world fr
- new book with the cutest lil bonuses included
- i’m learning how to make espresso martinis guys!
- the matcha obsession is still going strong (this was a pistachio matcha latte and it was delish)
- Halloween popup bar with the gf and it was so much funnnn
- i’m trying to eat better so I’ve been meal prepping all over the place lol

September wrap up tiiiiime 🙂‍↕️

reading wrapup:
listen, all four of these books were so different from each other and it truly made for a phenomenal reading month!! ‘this gilded abyss’ was my last read of the month and it truly blew my mind with how good it was! it fed my arcane loving heart fr

life wrapup:
this month me & my gf left the house (pls clap) to go to a Halloween pop up bar! we also saw 76th street live and they were INCREDIBLE. other than that the only times we left the house were to get food and then come scurrying back to rot on the couch lol. i also got my SJM wrist tattoo finally covered and she looks so good!

author services wrap up:
i have a ton of exciting stuff in the works and this month was the setting up process, i can’t wait to share with y’all what i’ve been cooking 🙂‍↕️
