One place away from a medal stings but the experience and growth I have had this year has been amazing

We keep it rolling!

Off Szn…Keep the days stacking! #running #trackandfield #distancerunner by @ericcasarez_

Eric Casarez is part of the Thunder Road Running Elite squad…where the primary goal is to provide whatever we can to help post-collegiate athletes bridge the gap into running professionally.

We are not a large company, in fact, it’s just a one man operation. “We” donate coaching, media, travel, gear, and create work opportunities for our squad to help make things happen. This is not a glamorous pursuit.

So. If you are gearing up for the next Olympic cycle…take a look at this guy who is progressing RAPIDLY and is built for the roads. 13:42->13:23 and 30:10->28:16. We’ve filmed several YT workout videos you can find in our bio if you’d like to follow along with Eric’s journey! Sign our guy.

For the love of the sport. #thunderroadrunning by @ericcasarez_

The breakthroughs happen on the days nobody is watching.

They happen in the rain, in the wind, and in the quiet moments when you’re chasing splits you’ve never hit before. They happen when you’re willing to bet on yourself long before anyone else believes it’s possible.

And when the workout is over, there’s no crowd, no applause, and nobody there to celebrate.

That part comes later—under the lights, on race day—when all the miles, sacrifices, and unseen work are finally brought into the spotlight.

It’s all in the nuance. Stack the days, believe.

9 second PB for @ericcasarez_ but most importantly he raced like he belonged in a 13 teens heat. Asserted himself, made moves, closed well…more to come. 👀

Great 10k debut for @ericcasarez_ ! Now that there’s a time next to his name we can sharpen up and sell the farm later in the year! 👀 We finish our pre-comp phase next week then it’s onto the next… USA’s on the mind.

First indoor race in almost 2 years.

Opened up my 2026 season with the mile at BU and got a much needed evaluation of where things are at.

Coach O and I recap the race and talk through it during a post-workout session.

Full race weekend video is up on YouTube!
