Hiss, you have my heart!
4th place finish at the 2026 Cheerleading Worlds 🌎

This weekend was definitely one for the books.
Did it end the way we hoped for? No. But does that change the way I see these kids? Not at all.

Throughout this entire season, these kids worked their butts off inside the gym, putting in so many hours that people don’t even see or realize. The ups and downs, the hits and the falls, the wins and the losses - this team never gave up.

People around this crazy cheer world may have given up on them. People may have said we were the worst coaches in the world. People may have stopped believing. But this team, these kids… never gave up. We never gave up. Our community and our Stars family Never. Gave. Up.

We continued to believe in what we were doing, trusting the process and working toward our goal.

Day 1 at Worlds was no mistake.
These kids hit the stage with a zero deduction routine and left Day 1 heading into Finals in 1st place 🥇 Putting their name back out there for the world to see. Proving to themselves, and to so many others, that Hiss is STILL something special.

Day 2 may not have gone the way we hoped, but even then, these kids finished in the Top 5 with a not so perfect routine.

4th place at The Cheerleading Worlds still means so much to me, and I will forever be proud of these kids and their accomplishments.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your kids. Thank you for standing strong behind them and SV every step of the way.
To my coaches and our co workers, thank you for loving these kids and being there for them like they’re your own.
And to Hiss, thank you for reminding me of my WHY every single day.

At the end of the day, it’s not about me. Everything I do is for these kids. The ultimate goal is to see them achieve that dream, and I would give anything to help get them there. It may not have been their day this time, but hopefully one day it will be.

Thank you for another incredible season, Hiss.

Pure Poison — 2026 Youth Summit Silver Champions! 🥈

I’ll have a lot more to say about these girls and parents soon, but for now, I just have to share how incredibly proud we are of this team. Not just for this weekend, but for this entire season.

The fight.
The drive.
The commitment.
The heart.
The PPD energy.

They left this weekend with two BEAUTIFUL zero deduction routines, and ending Day 1 in first place.

This was without a doubt one of the toughest divisions, filled with so much talent and competition. The Top 3 ended up being ALL TEXAS TEAMS, and I love every bit of that.
Congrats to WE Master Chiefs and ASR Courage!

We will never forget how this weekend made everyone feel. I’m so proud to be these kids’ coach, and I’m forever proud to be SV.

This may be the end of our season, but it’s only the beginning of these kids’ futures.

My heart hurts for my kids. I wish everyone was able to see them all through my eyes. Because to me, they’re everything.
I’ll never step away from loving each and every one of them. Good or bad, win or lose, Diamondbacks have the biggest place in my heart and nothing will ever change that.

Where do I even start!
This team has already come so far this season and we’re only halfway through! This is the FIRST TIME EVER that Stars Vipers has been invited to compete at The Majors. (One of the most prestigious competitions) Which made this the FIRST TIME that ANY of these kids have competed at this competition. And let me tell you… I am so proud of what they did on that stage. Second place at Majors! 🥈✨

It’s a lot of pressure and a lot to handle, but I know 100% that they made everyone back in San Antonio, Texas very proud to be a Viper.
And listen… I get it. Not everyone thinks this gym is deserving. Not everyone thinks we should’ve been invited. And not everyone thinks we can hang in this division. But guess what… we’re here. And we did and continue to do a lot of what people don’t expect us to do. I thrive off of all of the doubt that people put on our program and our kids sometimes. Because when we do what’s least expected, it feels that much better. Yes, these kids may not have won their first Majors. But this was so much more than that and an experience of a lifetime that they won’t forget. These kids went out and got to compete on the same stage as all of these other programs that people hold very high. And they did a VERY good job!

Our weekend isn’t over, but I just had to acknowledge the greatness of these kids and this team. I love them SO MUCH! Here’s to continuing to Make It Count ❤️✨ taken in Indianapolis, Indiana by @ericcjoshua
