This summer I was hired to create the visual identity for a holistic caฯ€ฯ€abis & CรŸD retail store in Victoria, called @minneorganix. They wanted an identity that felt authentically Minnesotan and communicated wellness, all while attracting a more suburban audience. This industry brings a lot of stigma with it, especially to older crowds, so they needed a brand that could connect with both seasoned consumers and curious newcomers. Avoiding the use of a pรธt leaฦ’ was deliberate, allowing this brand to lean more into wellness and the natural world, and less into โ€˜getting hยกghโ€™. Their building is absolutely gorgeous, and had three beautiful signs installed. There are some wonderful people behind this brand, that I really believe in. Very excited to share a branding project Iโ€™ve been involved with this year. I was hired to create a visual identity that merged the spirit of live music with technology, speaking to both concert-goers and musicians of all genres. @concerthubapp connects artists and concert goers through real-time setlists, allowing the crowd to add songs they are hearing live directly to their streaming libraries. The app will also facilitate merch orders through the artistsโ€™ online stores, and provide links to socials. All data that gets streamlined back to the artist after each performance. The team behind this startup is all Minneapolis-based. The app will be available this year. Any artists interested in the beta launch should submit their info on their website.
