It’s hard losing the ones we love. 19 years ago, a month after moving to Los Angeles, John Kirby gave me a safe space to learn acting. As an acting coach he was the best. As a man he was kind, loving, and had a smile and laugh that lit up the room. When I couldn’t afford classes, he still let me train because he believed in me. That kind of generosity is so rare. Years later when I was no longer in class, he still came to the premieres of the movies I produced, and always gave such encouraging feedback. He was incredibly supportive of his students. I’m so grateful for you @jkcoaching. Because of you, I met two of my best friends in the world @trevorpenick24 & @wil.daniels. You brought people together. @nathan__nesbitt thank you for everything over the years, and thank you for taking such incredible care of John in his last few years. Heaven gained a great one. I got to start my birthday today walking in honor of my Dad at the @alzassociation Los Angeles Walk to End Alzheimer’s. I was given the honor to hold the yellow flower in honor of my amazing Mom & all the caregivers who give so much to our loved ones fighting this disease. What an incredible time last weekend emceeing The Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Omaha. I’m forever grateful to everyone who came! Special thanks to @nebraskaalz for the honor, and to @press_pause_photos for these photos.
Big thanks to @yennywirth & @alzassociation for handling the logistics in getting me home. Thank you to my Uncle Joe Pane and Angel Horton Frank for putting on such an inspiring event! Please come out this Sunday, October 12th in Omaha! My Uncle Joe Pane has honored our family by naming his team ‘Hover’s Heroes’ after my Dad who passed from Alzheimer’s, and he now fights to #ENDALZ for his brother, my Uncle Tony.

I’ll be joining the @alzassociation THIS Sunday, Oct. 12 at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the College of Saint Mary Flames Fieldhouse.

I have the honor of being the Master of Ceremonies at this incredible event, and would love to see you all.

Well, we each had one martini, however in my mind we pulled a Matthew McConaughey “Keep ‘em comin’ til one of us passes out” like in The Wolf of Wall Street 😉

45 today and feeling good! Here I am dressed up as Patrick Swayze from DIRTY DANCING for the recent Dance to End Alzheimer’s in Los Angeles. I’m excited and grateful for another turning of the page. I’ve received so much love today from so many.

An incredible day with my big family here in Omaha as we all walked to end Alzheimer’s. The support I know we feel since losing so many members of our family to this disease has been overwhelming. My Uncle Joe Pane put this team together & raised a large sum of money for the cause. It’s a terrible disease, and having the silver lining of so much love, and being surrounded by people who can relate, is a massive blessing. Thank you family, thank you friends, thank you Alzheimer’s Association, thank you to all who walk, donate, pray, give your time, and send your love from afar. A Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. A few favorites of me & my Dad who looks down on us from heaven, one of me with my Godson/nephew as it’s such an honor to be his Godfather, one of the guy @brettcullenofficial who played & honored my Dad in our movie & is a friend & father figure now, and a couple of my big brother @matthover7 who is an incredible Dad to my niece & nephew.
