Grand day out on Mt Hamilton! About 50 brave souls made the ascent on vintage bikes. Foggy conditions provided ideal temp. My steed was a ‘71 Colnago - masterfully restored by Mr. Lobster - Paul Sadoff - @rocklobstercycles - and allegedly ridden by 15 year old @greg.lemond prior to switching to Della Santa frames. The gradient on Hamilton is pretty steady so the vintage gearing wasn’t too rough. The Colnago effortlessly glides so after I came to terms with vintage braking distances, the descent was a flowy dream. Thanks to @blacksocks for the loaner bike! Can’t wait for next year! by @erichortondesign
