Diane Keaton epitomized timeless nonchalant style. After Annie Hall, headwear became her signature, as she understood it framed ones’s face, brought focus to the eyes and conveyed confidence. by @ericjavits

I am deeply grateful to @herve_pierre_creative_director and @melaniatrump @flotus for entrusting me to create this iconic Inaugural hat.
Thank you to the thousands of people all over the world for their outpouring of praise, love and enthusiasm. ❤️Eric

This photo taken by Herve Pierre, Mrs. Trump’s stylist,(and designer of her inaugural ball gown) right before he transported the hat back to the First Lady.

It was my great honor and privilege to create the hat our First Lady, Melania Trump wore for the inaugural swearing in of our 47th President! She has the inner grace, beauty and presence to transform what was really a very simple, restrained hat style into what became a “wow” moment. The First Lady’s hat was made with love. EJ

Di Mondo:
Our sweet angel Ruby passed away last Sunday July 28th in Miami. He had been operated from a kidney stone and wasn’t able to over come. He had been in our life’s for over 7 years. I remember clearly when we went to pick him up in Brooklyn on a late Saturday night on March 31st. In the car I asked Eric what should we call him, Eric said Ruby because of his gorgeous Ruby eyes. He was soft, gentle, observant and very sensitive, once he felt our love towards him he opened his heart and filled our lives with so much joy and love. On Saturday we took him to the beach one last time, he loved the beach so much that he didn’t want to leave. It was heart breaking to see him go away little by little, that Saturday night I told him that I was so grateful that he was in our lives and that I loved him with all my heart and that if God wanted him to go he should go. I will always love you my little cookie 🤍🐇🤍

Eric Javits:
No matter how many times I kissed his little nose, he would poke his head up to receive more. He read my mind, anticipating my every move- I didn’t have to read his, because he let me know what he wanted-which snack, where to be petted and when it was time for me to come to bed. I never cared what he chewed; tattered towels, sheets, bed spreads, throw rugs, pillows , slippers, shoes, belts, pajamas, bath robes, pant cuffs and window shades were not just symbols of lenient fathering, but that he was a very busy bunny! There were mornings I awoke to Ruby even chewing the hair on my head! Thank you Ruby for seven joyful, bliss-filled years of bunny love. EJ
