Eric “The all-rounder” Juris

This story started back in 2024. The idea back then was to gather a few musicians to give my latest idea a sound and somehow bring it down to the third dimension. If you’ve been following my releases, you probably know which song I’m talking about.

One of those guys was Eric, and it’s actually quite funny how we first met. Beer in hand, poker face, and speaking English. That’s how he introduced himself on our first video call. We talked about the plan and all that stuff for about ten minutes until we finally asked ourselves the obvious question:

“Why the hell are we speaking English if you’re from Ecuador and I’m from Paraguay?”

Of course, we switched to Spanish immediately, and from that moment on, everything became much smoother… and definitely funnier.

We started working together, and through all the twists and turns that followed with the other guys, Eric was the only one still standing by my side. He supported my plans, ideas, and all that stuff from the very beginning with actions, not just words that the wind takes away.

He has proven to me many times that I can count on him without hesitation, and that’s something I truly value. Besides all the musical stuff, we also share a lot of things, especially the same kind of silly humor, which, in my opinion, is pretty damn important if you want to have fun along the way.

Musically, what can I say about him that you can’t already hear for yourself? He’s a superb guitar player and an excellent musician. Since he joined me in 2024 for this crazy long-distance project, he hasn’t just taken care of all the guitars, but he has also contributed to arranging the bass and drum lines together with me, performed on the recordings, and worked side by side with me throughout the pre-production of all the songs.

Well, I could keep going, but I’d probably just be repeating myself, so I’ll just say this: it’s absolutely fantastic to have you and your evil twin brother, Gunther Vergara, on this journey, my friend.

Cheers to more music and fun together! by @ericjuris
