🎙️ NEELAM KERKETTA PODCAST | Understanding Adivasi Knowledge, Nature & Sustainability

In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Neelam Kerketta to explore his academic journey, his research, and his experiences at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Dr. Kerketta’s academic journey took him towards the study of Adivasi communities, ecology and sustainability. In this conversation, we explore the connection between nature, culture, traditional knowledge and sustainable living, and why understanding Indigenous knowledge systems is important today.

We also take a closer look at his experience as a researcher at JNU. From Chhotanagpur to JNU, from traditional knowledge to modern academic research, this episode is a conversation about learning from the past while thinking about a sustainable future.

From showcasing Indigenous art and products to engaging with the community, Adinivaas stood as a platform dedicated to connecting, celebrating, and empowering Indigenous voices.

A special highlight was an exclusive interview with Adinivaas by DD News, giving us an opportunity to share our vision and talk about the importance of preserving Indigenous identity while creating new opportunities for the community.
