New work

"Edge Sense 1"

Oil on prepared paper, 2026, 30" x 22"

This one started with 2 diagonal lines and the composition was built from there. The polygons have mostly horizontal striations with a couple of verticals. The wet on wet colors are dictated by intuition.

I'm honored to be participating in the 90th Anniversary Exhibition, ABSTRACT BY DEFINITION: AN INDEX, curated by Saul Ostrow. The show will feature work by 90 current AAA members at ART CAKE in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. There will be an opening reception Saturday, April 11, from 5–8 p.m., and the show will be on view April 11–May 30, 2026. The exhibition continues the tradition of anniversary shows that honor AAA’s formation in 1936 and the group’s history of continuous activity since then.
