10 YEARS!
Thank you for spending this last decade of your life with me. When I look back at everything we’ve been through and everything we’ve built together, I’m truly grateful that I got to experience it all with you.

Thank you for giving me two beautiful kids, and especially for allowing me to be a dad to Danny.

Te amo guera.❤️ We made it through our first 10… now let’s go for another 10. And another 10 after that.

I love you so much mijo you’re growing into smart young man. You’re a great example of what a big brother is suppose to be. Glad to be your dad

Looking back at it I’m pissed for not putting my feet on the hips and I would of gotten the submission win
Either way I won but it would of been dope to get a sub. To learn from the mistakes and on to the next one by @erickpoint0

Two years ago almost to the date I got a concussion while sparring that put me out for the month of June. Then I tried coming back to training and in August I got another concussion by accident and that really made me feel different, it gave me balance issues and vertigo. I felt like a completely different person to the point that I didn’t think I would train or roll again.
Thankfully last year I started rolling little by little again and my body started getting used to it. Now I’m more motivated than ever to push forward and compete as much as I can and makeup for the time lost. Which I can’t really say I lost the time because it let me know to not take my good health for granted and showed me my limits.
This reaction was pure emotion, I feel like it’s life letting me know I learned my lesson for pushing my body too hard and now this is my reward. What made it even better is that my whole family showed up, even my mom 🥲 I just want to keep having fun and do what I love, which is jiujitsu. Shout out to my opponent as well as he really let me know that I got no business being up there with the big boys. Down to 185 it is.
On to the next one…

My walkout to Tommy Wright III-Chrome Thang
I made a request for them to start it off at 20 seconds and I’m glad they did it. Since I started martial arts I always dreamed of having a walkout and I’m glad I got to cross that off my bucket list @vasquez__bjj @_elevate_submission_series__ by @erickpoint0

We walked away victorious. Tough match but got the decision in the end. Not bad for a two year lay off from competing. Couldn’t be more glad to represent a gym full of badasses who push me every time I step on the mats. Now a few celebratory beers and back to training tomorrow as I have another competition in two weeks.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife ❤️
Thank you for everything you do for our family and for being such an incredible mom. You make life better every single day.

Also, it’s honestly unfair how you’re somehow still this hot after becoming a mom 😂🔥

We love you endlessly by @erickpoint0
