Earlier this week, I made the decision to enlist in the Nebraska Army National Guard. I auditioned for the 43rd Army Band earlier this year, and with a successful audition, I got offered a position to be a part of this awesome group of talented people!

Later this fall, I’ll be heading to Basic Training and then the Army School of Music. I appreciate and am thankful for everyone who has supported me in this path that I chose. I look forward to getting to work with some fantastic people! by @ericktheperson

This week I got the opportunity to perform in the National Intercollegiate Band in Lexington, KY with Professor Jason Fettig being our conductor! We also had the opportunity to premiere a commissioned piece by Dr. Kevin Day which was a blast to perform live!

It was also a pleasure meeting fantastic musicians from across the country from various backgrounds bring music to life and enjoying our time together! taken in Lexington Opera House by @ericktheperson
