Finale / Reflection

Music Composing Concept
This final piece was inspired by a close friend I lost.
After years of giving stability to those he loved, he was just starting to follow his own path when he passed.
The music carries love without certainty, fragile, tender, unresolved, holding space for devotion that continues, even in absence.

A ritual of changing, a quiet choreography of becoming

The sound opens soft and disciplined, pale and powdered
A metallic rhythm cuts through, breaking symmetry
Not a change of form, but of posture,
a body turning toward itself

On entry conforming, a soft, powdered blue.
On exit, the converse — trench cutting through.
Grounded or imposing, it’s all up to you.

$Robert Wun FW25 Couture “Becoming” Scene 2 Haircut Music Composing Concept For me, this chapter speaks of rebellion and self-definition — the intimate ritual of reshaping one’s surface in order to claim what lies beneath. It is sharp, defiant, and luminous, like cutting through silence with a blade of light. To translate this into sound, I built the score on fractured, metallic rhythms, textures that shimmer and rupture in equal measure. The music does not sing in melody, but declares itself — a streak across the mirror, a silhouette reforged, a presence demanding to be seen.
