Summer, through his eyes ❤️ by @ericmpoulin

True story. A new mini ramp got built this spring in Whistler by @rmwhistler and @allmountaincontracting . I chatted with @truthdsmith and told him we should try a photo at night with some LED lights. Truth showed up, skated for 5min, and we got this photo. Guy’s a legend! by @ericmpoulin

Same photo, 5 years apart! Proud of the little man for getting himself all the way up here on his own! Classic dad move, I’m wearing the exact same pants and shirt 😂 by @ericmpoulin

Some really good hiking lately with the family. Joffre Lakes 2026. Great to be shooting some photos of my favourite things again #nikon #family #astrophotography #startrails by @ericmpoulin

Did some spring tidy up on Green Monster, improving flow, and adding a couple new lines. Very gratifying to ride something you’ve put work into! Couldn’t have done it without the help and expertise of @kenmelamed @egobowl and Stu and Brent. Go check out the trail! by @ericmpoulin

Ben saw there is a contest with @burton @showcaseshop to #showcaseyourline and he didn’t hesitate! The box at the end, this was his first day ever hitting it. Park laps have never been so fun! @saranibz @mountainmomstrong by @ericmpoulin

I’m training to keep up on the hikes, the powder days, and the little legs that somehow never get tired.

These days my motivation is simple: keep up or get left in the dust.

Do your kids ever get tired? 😅 We did this hike and shred two days in a row with our 6yr old— and those little legs aren’t tired… until we hit the parking lot and have to walk 100m to the car! 🤣

What’s your motivation to train? 💪

POV: Cashing in on all the days spent in the magic carpet.

First Family Pow Day all on boards.
Six years in the making…
Years of magic carpets, slow laps, and tantrums 🏔️

Skis came first—to build a solid foundation on snow.
We dabbled in snowboarding (it’s way harder when they’re little), and now? It’s all snowboarding—and he’s shredding with confidence 🏂

Still on the carpet? Keep going.
You won’t be there forever 💪

Foundations matter—
just like in Mountain Mom Strong, they set you up for long-term success

We think our kids are lucky to grow up here… but really, we’re the lucky ones. 🌲❤️

Raising them outside, slowing down, playing, chasing our passions—and growing alongside them every step of the way.

🏔️Grateful to parent and live on the traditional, unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Lil̓wat Nations.

💕Tag a mountain mom you feel lucky to raise kids alongside—or a mountain mom who inspires you.

A little bit of life as of late. Ben’s first wave, couldn’t be more proud! @mountainmomstrong @saranibz by @ericmpoulin

Life’s been full—summer camp drop-offs, shorter workdays, fitting in workouts, bike rides, and hikes. Campsites are hard to snag this time of year, but one opened up last minute—and we jumped on it.

Just one night. I almost passed—because let’s be real, packing for a single night is a lot. But we went.
And honestly? So worth it.

Go live it, take the trip.

Even though we live in a mountain town with world-class trails, there’s something about getting away with no distractions that makes all the difference. We unplugged & took a multi-family bike trip to Cumberland, BC with three families—and had the best time! 🌲 From family rides & hikes to mom, dad, and date rides, we packed it all in. Power in numbers! We cooked, ate, and had one mission: tire out the kids, eat well, and ride till we couldn’t anymore. Mission accomplished: tired kiddos and happy parents. Huge thanks to everyone for making it happen! It really does take a village and we made our little village at the @cumberlandguesthouse if you need a place to stay it’s 👌, check it out!
